WREATH LAYING AT VICTORY WAR MEMORIAL: REPUBLIC DÀY 2022
On the auspicious occasion of Republic Day 2022, the Honourable Governor of Tamil Nadu Shri R. N. Ravi laid a wreath at the Victory War Memorial located on Beach Road, Chennai today.
Lieutenant General MK Das, PVSM, SM**, VSM, Commandant-Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, senior most military dignitary present on the occasion also laid a wreath in honour at the memorial.
Serving officers and veterans of all three wings of the Defence Force also laid wreaths. The ceremony is conducted every year to remember the sacrifices made by the brave soldiers to ensure the safety and sovereignty of the nation and rededicate ourselves to the cause of nation building.
