Story-;
Witness is the story of a mother who fights for justice for her son who was poisoned while cleaning a man’s re ctum. Cleaner Rohini. She lost her husband and has only one son. He is struggling to keep his son studying till co llege. One day he goes to night shift. When he comes home in the morning, he hears the news of the death of his son’s son. It is reported that he died while drunk while cleaning a septic tank in a large apartment. But his son wo uld not drink. Rohini says she is not the one to go for that job. But he struggles to prove it. Meanwhile, Shraddha Srinath, the brave woman who lives in the apartment, gives the CCTV footage to Rohini. After that Rohini goes to court with the help of communist comrades. Did the lower castes get justice in the court? Or become a pawn for apartment dwellers? What did the police and concerned authorities do? That is the justice (unjust) story..

‘Witness’ is a film directed by Deepak starring Shraddha Srinath and Rohini. “Witness” is a work about the dea ths and injustices done to them while cleaning the sewage tank. Rohini is working as a contract worker in the Ch ennai Corporation as a garbage collector. His son Parthiban is the world to him. Having lost his father, Parthiban, who is the mother of the world, is also fond of his mother.Parthiban is a skilled swimmer. In this case, when Rohi ni comes home from work at night, she is shocked to find that Parthiban is not at home.It is only then that it is re vealed that Parthiban died of suffocation while going inside to clean the sewage tank of an apartment… Rohini freezes due to this.
He joins the court along with a trade union leader named Petharaju to ensure that what happened to his son sh ould not happen to anyone again. Rohini is struggling to get punishment for all those involved, including the pe rson who forced Partipan to do the work, the apartment management head, the contractor, the corpo rati onen gineer.Parthiban’s friend Shraddha Srinath also stands by Rohini’s side.What happened in the end is the rest of the story of the film.Rohini has given life to her character and lived as that character. I can’t even think of anyone else in this role.Rohini’s role in bringing us along with the story was unmistakable as she showed the hardships of her son and the mother’s grief at the loss of her son.Shraddha also comes as an important turning point in this ca se. The evidence he takes is the life of this story.
Shraddha has done what was given to her perfectly.Seniors like Shanmukha Raja, Alagam Perumal, Srinath who acted in the film have done their characters well.Director Deepak has shed light on the ongoing hardships of the workers. Congratulations to the director for exposing the ruling class without any compromise. The director rec eives applause with the line “There is an unwritten law that says this person should do this work”. After getting into the cistern to remove the excrement and saving hundreds of lives, the same pattern is still there… it’s a cur se.Moreover, you can stand up and applaud the director for the climax scene in the film…
Director Deepak has ended the film with something that no one could have guessed.The direction of a few char acters does not go with the original story, but the director keeps it enjoyable.The director also handles the cine matography and keeps the scenes enjoyable. Music composed by Ramesh Tamil Mani. Ramesh Tamil Mani keeps us traveling along with the characters by giving us peace wherever we need peace in the background music.
