“Weapon has lots of Exciting and Goosebump moments” – Rajeev Menon
Cinematographer-turned-actor Rajeev Menon has become the cynosure of film enthusiasts as they admire his screen presence and commendable performance in ‘Viduthalai Part 1’. He is now all set to enthrall them with his yet another striking performance in Guhan Senniappan’s ‘Weapon’, a Sci-Fi Action Thriller based on ‘Superhuman’ starring Sathyaraj in the lead role. The film is all set for its arrival in the theaters on June 7, 2024.
“When Guhan narrated the script, I could feel his confidence, clarity, and vision at the right tempo. Moreover, I was surprised that he approached me for a powerful role, which he could have easily impressed the popular artistes, thereby getting them onboard,” smilingly says Rajeev Menon, who has bagged a pivotal character in this movie. He adds, “When the writing is so substantial, it eventually contributes in escalating the performance level of actors, which will be evident with ‘Weapon’. It’s a movie made with new-age technology with proper usage of AI technology. Weapon has lots of exciting and Goosebumps moments for the audiences. I believe and hope that they will enjoy the movie in theaters from June 7.”
Weapon is written and directed by Guhan Senniappan and is produced by Million Studio. While Sathyaraj plays the lead role, Weapon has a promising bunch of actors like Vasanth Ravi, Rajeev Menon, Tanya Hope, Rajeev Pillai, Yashika Aannand, Mime Gopi, Kaniha, Gajaraj, Syed Subhan, Baradwaj Rangan, Veluprabhakaran, Maya Krishnan, Shiyas Kareem, Benito Franklin, Raghu Esakki, Vinothini Vaidyanathan, Meghna Sumesh and many others.
Ghibran is composing the music and Prabhu Raghav is handling cinematography for this movie, which features editing by Gopi Krishna, Art by Subendar P.L, and action by Sudesh.
