Walkaroo Foundation and Native Medicare Charitable Trust Join Forces for Community Sensitization Program under Munnetram 360° Initiative
Coimbatore, 27th September, 2024: As part of the Munnetram 360° initiative—a holistic development program for government school students—the Walkaroo Foundation and Native Medicare Charitable Trust teamed up to address key social challenges through a community sensitization event. Held in the villages of Selakkarachal and Pappampatti, the program aimed to tackle pressing issues such as substance abuse, child safety, health and hygiene, educational opportunities, and the empowerment of girls through education.
A highlight of the event was a vibrant street play, performed by the Bharathi Cultural Group from Trichy. Through a dynamic mix of dance, music, and drama, the group brought important messages to life, engaging the audience and driving home the need for action on these issues.The event took place in the evening, ensuring that community members could participate after their workday. It inspired residents to take action and emphasised the shared responsibility of creating a safer, healthier, and brighter future for children.
