VISIT OF GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING (GOC) HEADQUARTERS DAKSHIN BHARAT AREA TO WELLINGTON MILITARY STATION
Lieutenant General A Arun, Yudh Seva Medal, Sena Medal, Vishisht Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area was on a visit to Wellington Military Station. The visit had been scheduled for two days from 12 August to 13 August. During his visit the General Officer visited the various units and establishments to include Defence Services Staff College, Madras Regimental Centre and Military Hospital Wellington. He also interacted with the veterans during his visit to ECHS Polyclinic at Wellington.
The General Officer also inspected the training infrastructure of Madras Regimental Centre. The General Officer felicitated personnel of various units in the station for their outstanding contributions in accordance with their charter of duties. He appreciated the Madras Regimental Centre for ensuring continuous training of recruits throughout the COVID pandemic while ensuring COVID protocols. He also exhorted all personnel to keep the standards high and uphold the glorious traditions of the Indian Army.
