VELAMMAL HOSTED SIGNATURE CAMPAIGN TO CREATE AWARENESS ON CLEAN AND HEALTHY ENVIRONMENT *
Velammal Main School, Mogappair Campus organised Puneet Sagar Abhiyan Signature Campaign to raise awareness among the citizens addressing the emergency issues to reduce marine litter on the beaches of Chennai.
This massive signature campaign was initiated by NCC DTE (TN, P & AN ) NCC Group Madras ‘A’ I(TN) R & VSQN NCC, NCC Army and NCC Naval wing of Velammal Main School, wherein around 3000 students from the school took part in this awareness campaign recently.
This initiative stems from the need to protect the environmental heritage by following good practice of waste management to reduce its consequences.
