Director Kannuswamy Ramachandran has made this story into a screenplay as a story that takes place in Chola vanthan, Madurai district during 1987. In a feud between two families, the hero kills some members of one famil y. As a result, the family is waiting for the hero to take the blame. The story of the film is the emotional events th at happen after that. Doulet Santhosh has proved himself to be a formidable actor by acting superbly. He has bro ught the vibrancy of Sengruti through his senses and is stunning. This movie is a perfect sign for Raveena Ravi. Th e performance he has shown as Manna’s mainti is amazing. Most of the other actors are people who live in the to wn where the story takes place. The realism in their acting makes the film more alive.
Apart from some specific actors in the film, the majority of the actors are the people of the place where the story takes place. This can be said to be a major strength of the film. Their body language and diction take us to a live vi llage.Although Raveena Ravi has previously acted in various films like Love Today, Mamannan Ut, she has given a n excellent performance in the role of Tinchichi Katha as Mannin Panna, a village teacher, in this Vattara Susu m ovie. The film’s hero Santhosh has already acted in Dulette. As a badass in the film, he channels anger and love p erfectly.Music is Ilayaraja.. Music is Ilayaraja himself!
