A widowed pat ri arch (Charlie) has two sons (Linga, Deena) and a daughter (Gayatri) a daughter-in-law (Aparnathy) a son-in-law (Vivek Prasanna) a daughter great-granddaughter and a great-grandson. The chief’s sister (thanam) is suffering from amnesia and his daughter is the daughter-in-law of the head of the family . There is a simple house owned by the head of the family. The head of the family, his eldest son, daughter-in-law, grandson and sister live in it .D ue to poverty, the eldest son’s wish is to sell the house and use the money to start a business and go to a rented house. Her daughter, who has come from out of town with her husband and daughter, also agrees as she will get money from it. But if the house is sold, then there will be no property; The head of the family refuses, thinking that it will be difficult for the children later. Well, the elder son asked through a friend how much money he wo uld get if the house was sold, thinking that he could convince his father somehow. That is when it comes to know that 300 square feet less than the size of the house is registered in the deed.
It took more than eight months to fix and sell it all; The plan of the children is ruined when the price will not go as expected. In this situation, when the head of the family goes to the Vallalar complex where he usually works, the oldest building collapses. When the news comes that many people are trapped inside, the family thinks that the head of the family is also dead in it. In the next few minutes, the government announced a compensation of Rs 20 lakh for those who died in the accident and Rs 2 lakh for those who were injured. Perhaps the children fight over how to divide the twenty lakh rupees that will come if the father dies, and come to peace, a twist… S is the same! The head of the family comes home without even a scratch. There is a twist again, as the children get mixed feel ings of happiness and disappointment. S is the same. Dad is really going to die. This film is about what happened when the body of the head of the family, who died at home, was secretly ta ken to the ruined building and pretended to be dead, the sons, daughter, son-in-law and daughter-in-law all tried to g et a compensation of twenty lakh rupees.The strength of the film is the simplicity of the visuals. While most of th e scenes take place inside a single house, the way the house is designed creates a sense of realism.Kudos to direc tor Karthik Srinivasan, cinematographer Madan Christopher, and art director MSP Madhavan for that. The gran dson showing love to his grandfather, the girl (who is aunt) showing love to his grandson and all the scenes relat ed to it are superbly acted by Charlie. Next, Abernathy steals the heart with a performance that is natural and si mple. Gayathri, Linga, Vivek Prasanna, Deena all spoke well.They are wasting the good actor Mylaswam y.Shakti Balaji did not have much chance for musical score as it was a dialogue-filled film.
Some of the comedy scenes are laughable.Not a new story but not a bad story either.But the screenplay lacks de pth and care. That too after the death of the head of the family, this film must have been very flamboyant. But af ter that they test a lot.Taking a serious issue, the film goes towards a wrong conclusion due to scenes that do not have a bit of logic.During the funeral rites for a deceased person, the milk that all the relatives pour into the mo uth of the dead person is called savan bal. Even though there are three children, due to their selfishness, the film ends with the head of the family leaving the orphan as a corpse without anyone to take care of him. Why such a screenplay? Knowing the nature of the children, the family heads fought for their welfare. But if he loses in it, th en this is a suitable climax?Actually this movie has a good screenplay. They swore not to say it and went to film. What good screenplay is that? Let’s see that too.
The head of the family comes alive when the children thought that the father was dead. The grandson and grand daughter told the visitor, “Thinking that you are dead, everyone in the house was fighting over how to divide the loss money.” The heartbroken head of the family actually dies. The children did not know that the grandson and granddaughter spoke to the grandfather.Then, instead of putting the father’s body in the ambulance that carries the dead as seen in the film, that body also gets added to the relief list.But the problem is that there is no injury on the body of the corpse, and the amnesiac sister says that she saw the head of the family who came home after the building collapsed.In spite of that, the sons and daughters fight for the relief amount, a good officer is like the good children of Patha. Why are they going to tell me?” Children say before,The issue of these children asking for compensation went viral.Seeing this, the minister of the ruling government said, “If there is no relief, let the op position parties talk about this.
