Two School Students from Tamil Nadu Won the Championship at National Fina ls of SIP Arithmetic Genius Contest held in Chennai
300 young arithmetic champions from 2 3 states to compete for the prestigious “Arithmetic Genius” title in Chennai
The Grand National Finals of the much-a waited SIP Arithmetic Genius Contest 2024 held at Hotel Green Park, Vadapa alani, Chennai, on Sunday, 19th January 2025. The 9th edition of this contest, co nducted by SIP Academy India, witness ed participation from over 750,000 chil dren across 1,500 schools in 23 states. T he multi-tiered competition aims to stre ngthen the mathematical foundation of children in Classes 1 to 5 while nurturin g a healthy competitive spirit.
The contest progresses through four ro unds: School Round, City Round, State R ound, and the Grand National Finals. Ou t of 2,33,000 students in Round 2 and 37 ,000 participants in the State Finals, 300 students have qualified for the National Finals and they participated in the Natio nal Finals held in Chennai.
The winners from each class crowned at “Arithmetic Genius 2024”, with attractiv e cash prizes for the top three positions in each class:
Champion: ₹25,000
1st Runner-up: ₹15,000
2nd Runner-up: ₹10,000
