Tirupur Kamban Kazhagam Celebrates 16th Annual Day with Book Launch

Tirupur, 30th July, 2024 – The Tirupur Kamban Kazhagam proudly celebrated its 16th Annual Day yesterday with a  grand event that also marked the laun ch of the new book, Avinasi Talapuran nam. The former Supreme Court Judge Mr.V. Ramasubramaniam graced the o ccasion as a chief guest along with Pad ma Shri Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman of the Apparel, Made-ups and Home Fur nishing Sector Skill Council, Govt of In dia (AMHSSC), Chairman of Poppy’s Gr oup of Companies and Chairman of the board of trustees, the Avinashi Linges hwarar Temple and Mr. K. M. Subram anian, President, Tirupur Exporters As sociation (TEA).

The highlight of the evening was the book launch of Avinasi Talapurana m, a comprehensive history of the Avi nasi Lingeswarar Temple, written in simple Tamil by Mr. Ramakrishnan. T he book, sponsored by Ramraj Cotton, was officially released by former Supr eme Court Judge Mr. V. Ramasubrama niam. The first copy was graciously rec eived by Dr. A Shaktivel.
