Thookudurai Tamil movie review
In the year 2000, a festival takes place in a village called Kailasam in Tirupathur district, during the festival a man named Manna comes to film, he is in love with a girl named Imaiya who is a royal family in that town, and because their parents do not accept their love, both of them run away from home.
In the year 2024, two friends in Chennai go to learn to steal from a master. When they get there, another person is already in training. These three people who have trained from the master decide to steal a crown in a village called Kailasam in Tirupattur district. Did they steal the crown as they thought? Isn’t it? And the rest of the story of the film is what happened to Manna & Imaiya….

Along with Yogi Babu there are many more comedy actors like Mottai Rajendran, Bala Saravanan, sendrayan.However, there is no humor anywhere. Everyone is doing something serious. Many of the actors are acting in a stage play style. It seems that Iniya thought that if she acts with Yogibabu, it will be enough to show less performance. He has acted in moderation.
Cinematographer Ravi Verma has kept the camera in one place without much effort. Bala Saravanan hits many verses on social media in the name of comedy. I don’t know how long Rajendran will continue to make jokes with his bald head. The film highlights the dearth of good comedy writers in Tamil cinema today. The gallows title has nothing to do with the story. Gallows puts us to sleep.
