The new film, in which Arun Pandian, wh o has a multifaceted personality as an ac tor-producer-distributor, plays the main role, has been named ‘Akenam’ and the f irst look for it has been released. ‘Makk all Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, actor Ashok Selvan, actress Aishwarya Rajesh – direc tor Gokul – actress Ramya Pandian jointl y released this on their social media pag es and congratulated the film crew.
Directed by Uday K, the film ‘Akenam’ st ars Arun Pandian, Keerthi Pandian, Prav een Raja, Aditya Shivpink, Ramesh Thila k, G. M. Sundar, Aditya Menon, Seetha a nd many others. Vignesh Govindarajan has handled the cinematography and Bh arat Veeraragavan has composed the m usic for this film. Divethian has handled the editing and Raja has handled the art direction. It is also worth noting that all the technicians working in this film are making their debut through the film ‘Ak enam’. This film, which is being prepared as an emotional work with entertainme ent elements, has been produced by pro ducer Arun Pandian on behalf of A & B G roups.
Talking about the film, the director said, ”The screenplay of the film Akenam has been created in a lively and exciting wa y. The shooting of the film took place in some important parts of North India ap art from Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. T he background music of the film has be en recorded in famous music halls in Eu ropean countries to ensure that it is of international standard. In addition, the film features national award-winning O dissi dance master Mr. Gangadhar Naya k and his team, along with a large numb ber of North Indian dance artists. The fi lm ‘Aakenam’ will provide a different th eatrical experience to the fans, he said.
The shooting of the film has been compl eted and the post-shooting technical wo rk is currently underway. In this context, the title and first look of the film have b een released.
Meanwhile, it is noteworthy that Arun P andian – Keerthi Pandian have previousl sly acted together in the film ‘Anbirkiniy iyal’, and this film received a great critic al reception, and since both of them ha ve acted again in this film ‘Aakenam’, th ere is great expectation among the fans.
