TAMIL FILM ACTIVE PRODUCERS ASSOCIATION completes 2 Years of Excellence in its Operation (2020-22)

Tamil Film Active Producers Association (TFAPA) successfully completed 2 years of excellence in its operation since its formation in August 2020.
Founded by Legendary Director & Producer Thiru Bharathirajaa, Eminent Producers Thiru T.G. Thyagarajan, Thiru T. Siva, Thiru G. Dhananjayan, Thiru S.R. Prabhu, Thiru S.S. Lalit Kumar and Thiru Suresh Kamatchi, today TFAPA boasts of over 180 Active Producers as its members including many top Production houses and Producers of Tamil Cinema being a part of it.
TFAPA since its inception has crossed several milestones in its operation and few are listed here:
• Recognized by both the Central and State Government and invited for all their meetings on industry deliberations.
• Actively involved in all Film Industry related matters in all Forums.
• An Association to support, guide and encourage Active Film Producers
• Title registration process offered within 72 hours (if there are no objections)
• Publicity clearance letter offered within 24 hours for Film Censoring
• Office-bearers available on a call for any support to Active Producers
• Office-bearers actively involved in resolving any dispute of Members
• Actively involved in finalizing the wage terms of agreement with FEFSI for the period 2022-2025.
• Regular update to Members on the release schedule of films and progress of film industry
• A disciplined and successful financial management of the Association
• Many more initiatives planned to support Active Producers
TFAPA is managed by its President, Thiru Bharathirajaa with the support of G eneral Secretary Thiru T. Siva, Trea surer Thiru T.G. Thyagarajan, Vice Presid ents Thiru G. Dhananjayan, Thiru S.R. Prabhu and Joint Secretaries Thir u S.S. Lalit Kumar and Thiru Suresh Kamatchi.
In the TFAPA’s management team, there are 12 active producers functioning as Executive Committee Members. They are: Thiru S. Nandagopal, Thiru P. M adan, Thiru C. Vijayakumar, Thiru Rajsekar Karpoora Sundarapandian, Thiru G. Dilli Babu, Thiru Karthikeyan Santhanam, Thiru R. Kannan, Thiru Sudhan S undaram, Thiru Vijay Raghav endra, Thiru I.B. Karthikeyan, Thiru Nitin Sath ya and Thiru P.G. Muthiah.
TFAPA organizes an Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) every year and in teracts with its members during such meeting for the progress of the film in dustry. The AGM for the year 2021-22 is scheduled for 27th August 2022 at 5 p.m.
The Elections for the new Management Team of TFAPA was conducted by an Election Officer on 1st August 202 2 after inviting nominations from Active Producers, who are Primary members of TFAPA and the new office-bea rers and EC members elected unanimously will assume charge for the period 2022-24 during the AGM schedule d. TFAPA Team is planning to bring in several resolutions for the benefit of the Tamil film industry during this A G M. TFAPA Management Team is committed to serve its members with more enthusiasm and support them to bec ome successful in their endeavors in Tamil Film Industry.
