Syrma Technology gets approval under PLI Scheme for Telecom and Networking Products Manufacturing
The government of India recently approved the PLI scheme for telecom and networking Products Manu facturi ng in India. A total of 31 companies comprising 16 MSMEs and 15 Non-MSMEs (8 Domestic and 7 Global compa nies), got approval under the Scheme.
Syrma Technology, a pioneer in Electronic Manufacturing is among the 15 companies which has been granted approval for electronics manufacturing under Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for networking pro du cts. With this government support, Syrma aims to propel its vision of China Plus One and strengthen India as an attractive electronic manufacturing hub. The company’s core strengths in this segment are- 4G/5G Radio Acc ess Network, Access & Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), IoT Devices, Enterprise Equipments like Switches, Routers and other Wireless Equipments. About 85 per cent of Syrma’s revenue is contributed exports (mainly to US and Europe) by catering to global OEMs.
