SRM Public School Celebrates Its 8th Annual Day with a Focus on the ‘7 Habits
of Highly Effective People’ Chennai, 28th September 2024: SRM Public School celebrated its 8th Annual Day with a grand
theatrical musical based on the theme “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”
The event took place at the T.P. Ganesan Auditorium, SRM Institute of Science & Technology, and was a vibrant display of the school’s commitment to holistic education.
The Chief Guest for the event was Dr. T.R. Paarivendhar- Founder Chancellor of SRM Group of Institutions. In his inspiring address, Dr. Paarivendhar emphasized the importance of developing
leadership skills in students from a young age and praised SRM Public School for nurturing
well-rounded individuals who are prepared to excel in all walks of life. Dr. P. Sathyanarayanan,Pro-Chancellor (Academics) of SRMIST, presided over the event, highlighting the significant
strides SRM Public School has made in providing quality education and contributing to the
overall development of its students. Dr. Kannan Gireesh, Founder & CEO of LiveLife Education and the Guest of Honour, shared his
insights on the importance of emotional intelligence and self-awareness, which align with the
values emphasized in the ‘7 Habits of Highly Effective People.’ He commended the school for
creating an environment that fosters personal growth and resilience.Mr. M. Subramaniam, Correspondent , Mrs. Manimangai Sathyanarayanan and Dr. . K.R.
Maalathi, Advisor , spoke passionately about the school’s mission, stating, “At SRMPS, we are dedicated to inculcating international mindedness and offering futuristic education to our students. We believe in nurturing individuals who can think globally while acting locally.” They emphasized how the annual day was a testament to the school’s holistic approach to education, where students are encouraged to develop not just academically but also emotionally, socially,and creatively. Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Raja , Principal welcomed the gathering and set the tone by
presenting the annual report. The cultural performances showcased the talents of the students and embodied the seven
habits, reflecting the school’s dedication to nurturing future leaders who embody integrity,empathy, and problem-solving skills.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the audience inspired by the students’ display of creativity, confidence, and discipline.SRM Public School continues to set a benchmark in holistic education, striving to develop every
