Spanning across a period of 2 decades (started in the year 2000), the journey of T. Muruganandham of Rockfort Entertainment has been a tremendous phase of successful ventures. He has distributed around 148 movies acr oss Tamil Nadu that range from the iconic stars like Ajith Kumar, Vijay, Dhanush, and many more in the league. Acquiring the Tamil Nadu rights of Hip-hop Aadhi’s onscreen debut ‘Meesaya Murukku’, the production house witnessed an incredulously big profit. The successful journey continued with ‘Meyaadha Maan’ produced by Karthik Subbaraj ‘s Meyaadha Maan released for Diwali 2017, which again was a blockbuster hit. Following this was its association with some of the biggest openers of Tamil cinema like Veeram and Vivegam. Not to miss the producer’s commendable year of 2019 as the movies (Aadai, Mahamuni, Kolaigaran, Comali, Sindhubadh, Asu ran, Kaappaan, Petromax & Naan Sirithal) spanned groovy profits apart from winning laudable reviews. Brim med with so much knowledge about audience pulse, cognizance over choosing the right projects, and eco nomics of showbiz, he embarked on his journey as a producer with Kuruthi Aattam starring Atharvaa Murali and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead role. Helmed by ‘8 Thottakkal’ fame Sri Ganesh, the dubbing phase recently got co mpleted, and the postproduction work is on full swing.
Director Sri Ganesh says, “My journey with producer T Muru ganandham sir has been quite longer than I envisa ged, which has been more meaningful. It has strengthened the bond and unde rstanding between us in a more positive way. Every time, I talk about him, it’s an emotional moment to me as I will never forget the way, he trusted me and my script from the beginning stage of Kuruthi Aattam. I would say that he had more hopes on me even before I narrated him the script as he offered to direct after watching ‘8 Thottakkal’. He gave me complete freedom to express my creativity, and this indeed took me for a big task of handling the project with more responsibilities. Of course, Atharvaa sir has been so much support and was a brother-like person in encouraging and complimenting my works. We are now vigorously working on the postproduction work and will be soon revealing the plans on the film’s audio, trailer, and theatrical release.”
Apart from Kuruthi Aattam, Producer T. Muruganandham has lined up more projects that include “Production No.2”, Kids-centric film (comedy entertainer) directed by YouTube Put Chutney fame Raj Mohan. The anno unc ement involving his third production venture ‘Pisasu 2’ directed by Mysskin with Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role is already making sensational waves in K-Town. T Muruganandham’s Rockfort Entertainment has an inked a deal with MasterPiece Production company for acquiring Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of Kamali from Naduk averi starring Kayal Anandhi & Rohit Saraf, Mayabimbam – Akash Prabhu, Janaki, and Ishwarya Murugan – Arun & Vid hya Pillai. The next distribution venture of Rockfort Entertainment is distributing Jayam Ravi’s Bhoomi in 7 areas of Tamil Nadu. Besides, T Muruganandham’s Rockfort Entertainment has acquired the blockbuster Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuthu sequel Irandam Kuthu Santhosh Jayakumar Directorial, we distributing the movie worldwide.
