SOUTHERN COMMAND CROSS COUNTRY TRIALS 2021
Thangraj Stadium located at Madras Regimental Centre Wellington, witnessed yet another astounding display of speed, stamina and agility when 10 teams from various formations of Southern Command took part in the much coveted Cross Country trails 2021. The trials was conducted on 30 September 2021 under the aegis of Madras Regimental Centre at Wellington. Each team comprising of six runners participated in the 10km event by demonstrating exceptional sportsman spirit and determination.
The Cross Country trials was flagged off by Brig Rajeshwar Singh, Shaurya Chakra, Sena Medal, Commandant Madras Regimental Centre from Thangraj Stadium
Post trials a 10 member team was selected from the sixty participants to form the Southern Command Cross Country which would be participating in the Army Championship which is to be conducted in Ranikhet.
