With today’s introduction of Philips Hue with Bluetooth, Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the world leader in lighting, makes its smart lighting system even more accessible. Setting the mood in your room, whether you are hosting a dinner party or relaxing at the end of the day, is now as easy as screwing in a Philips Hue light bulb with Bluet ooth and tapping an app to set up and control.
Customers can now connect up to 10 bulbs and light strips in a room using just the Philips Hue Bluetooth App, which uses Bluetooth Low Energy for connectivity. The app can be used to turn lights on and off, dim or br ighten them to the preferred setting, choosing a shade from millions of colors or any shade of white light in add ition to the pre-set scenes to match your daily routine.
