Sixyardsofhappiness, a campaign launched by Ladies Circle India for World Disability Day
chennai, 3rd December,2020: With an aim to create awareness for the disabled women, Ladies Circle India launched the campaign sixyardsofhappiness on World Disability Day . This campaign is a saree donation drive to celebrate women who are rising above their disabilities to show courage and inspiration to many. The campaign video was launched by Dr. Jaya Mahesh, Mrs. India Earth Classic-2017-17.
The underprivileged physically challenged women in the society are treated with inequality and have not been given due importance to voice their opinions. In order to uplift the sentiments of these wonderful women, ladies circle India partnered with Green Trends Unisex Hair and Style Salon ,IAB, 3monks creative studio and Cheshire homes to give these beautiful ladies a makeover, portfolio shoot, video. The campaign hopes to encourage people to see past the disabilities and recognize the strength and grit these women display on all facets of their lives.
