SRM Arts and Science College, Kattankulathur conducted NRITYA ‘23, an Interschool Cultural Competition on 1 8th August 2023 on the occasion of its Founder’s Birthday.
The Competition was aimed at exposing the cultural diversity and hi dden talents of the school students. Various events like drawing, ch annel surfing, elocution were conducted as a part of the competitio n. A total of 500 stude nts from 30 schools took part in the competit ion. Mr. R.Arunachalam, Estate Officer, and Dr. R. Mohana Krishna n, Director of Sports, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattan kulathur Campus were the Chief Guests of the Programme. They co ngratulated the participants and advised them to make use of avail able sources and en h ance their skills to be successful in their profe ssional and personal lives. The overall Winner’s Trophy was won by Zion School, Selaiyur and the prizes were giv en away by the Guests to the winners of the various events. Dr. R.Va sudevaraj, Principal presided over the progr amme and Mr. K. Mathiyazhagan, Vice Principal advised the particip ants to cultivate good habits for the better ment of the Nation. Dr. K. Govarthanan, Physical Director and Dr. R. Radhidevi, Coordinator of the Fine Arts Clu b delivered the welcome address and vote of thanks.
