RITES and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation sign MoU to advance health and development priorities, & gender equality in India
Gurugram, 4 August 2022: RITES Ltd., a public sector enterprise and leading transport infrastructure consultan cy and engineering company, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bill & Melinda Gates F oundation to advance goals on health, development, and gender equality in India, through their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts. The MoU has been signed for a duration of two years.

The MoU will allow both organizations to collaborate and partner with the central and state governments and o ther not-for-profit and philanthropic organizations to develop strategic, high impact, multi-year programs with outcomes for the most vulnerable. In its first phase, the collaboration will jointly support projects focused on wo men’s economic empowerment and accelerating the adop tion of Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA) usi ng digital public goods platforms.
