*Rise East Entertainment Signs MOU wi th South Korea’s Flix Oven to Expand In do-Korean Film Collaborations*

Chennai-based production house Rise E ast Entertainment has entered into a M emorandum of Understanding (MoU) wi th Flix Oven, a prominent South Korean production company, to facilitate Indo-Korean cinematic collaborations. This p artnership will open new avenues for In dian filmmakers—especially Tamil and P an-Indian creators—to shoot in South K orea while also enabling the adaptation of Korean content for Indian audiences.
Bridging Two Vibrant Film Industries
South Korean films, web series, and tele vision dramas have garnered immense p opularity across the Indian subconti nen t, with Tamil audiences and digital platfo rm viewers leading the appreciation for Korean storytelling. Recognizing this gr owing connection, Rise East Entertainm ment and Flix Oven have joined hands t o create cross-cultural cinematic experi ences.
Speaking on the collaboration, Ms. Sree nidhi Sagar, Producer at Rise East Entert ainment, said:

Under this agreement:
• Indian films set in South Korea will be produced by Flix Oven.
• Korean films set in India will be produc ed by Rise East Entertainment.
Beyond production, the partnership aim s to develop screenplays featuring India n and Korean artists and co-produce we b series, television series, and films, fost ering a deeper Indo-Korean cultural coll aboration.
Expanding Global Horizons
With a strong track record in Tamil and T elugu cinema, Rise East Entertainment is rapidly expanding its international foo tprint. The production house has deliver ed successful films such as Bodhai Yeri B uddhi Maari, Anbulla Ghilli, Nitham Oru Vaanam, and the recently released Star, along with acclaimed web series Paper Rocket (Tamil) and Balu Gani Talkies (Te lugu). Currently, the company is produci cing Vikram Prabhu’s upcoming film Lov e Marriage and is also in talks for an inte rnational project.
