Rana’s Spirit Media, and Dulquer’s Wayfarer Begin Filming for ‘Kaantha’
Rana Daggubati’s Spirit Media, an arm of the 60-year-old Suresh Productions in collaboration with Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, has begun filming its debut project, “Kaantha.” Directed by Selvamani Selvaraj, the film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Bhagyashree, and Samuthirakani, marking an exciting start for Spirit Media’s cinematic journey.
Hyderabad, India, September __, 2024: Rana Daggubati’s venture Spirit Media and Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films marked the beginning of their most awaited multilingual film project “Kaantha” with a puja at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad. This partnership brings together two creative powerhouses committed to delivering exceptional cinema.
Set in the evocative backdrop of 1950s Madras, “Kaantha” is a cinematic journey that explores the complexities of human relationships and societal change during a dynamic period in history.
