After the success of the Hindi series Hostel Daze, Prime Video is all set to bring its Tamil reboot, Engga Hostel. A head of its premiere on the streaming service, Prime Video hosted a special screening in Chennai in the presen ce of the cast and crew of the series. Along with director Sathish Chandrasekaran, actors Sacchin Nachiappan, Avinaash Ramesh, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Saranya Ravichandran, Goutham Raj, and Dravid Selvam marked their attendance. The special screening was a star-studded affair with the Tamil dignitaries attending the scree ning to showcase their support to the team.
The screening was attended by the Indian filmmaker Rajiv Menon, the talented actress Aditi Balan, actor Dann ie, KK (Soorarai Pottru fame) and Dheena (Vijay TV fame), among others. The audience was enthralled by the st ory and found it utterly relatable. The guests also showered praises on the performances and direction of the se ries. With the series receiving thunderous response from the attendees, it is safe to say that Engga Hostel has received full marks.
Created by The Viral Fever, the Tamil version of the series also focuses on the relatable and curious lives of six engineering students. The story captures the fun, relatable situations as the students struggle with identity, fr iendship, love, life, and academics. Prime members in more than 240 countries and territories can now stream Engga Hostel on the service.
