Nayakan Naslen falls in love with a fellow student while studying in college. After that love ends in failure, he tries to go to London after his studies to escape from that tragedy. That too ends in failure. Thus, he goes to Hyderabad with his friend. There, Nazlen meets heroine Mamita Baiju at a wedding event and falls in love with her. So the man who wanted to go to Chennai stays in Hyderabad for love.

When Naslen informs the heroine’s friend of his love, he says, “You don’t have any qualifications that Mamita Baiju expects, so she will definitely not accept your love”, adding that Shyam Mohan, an office friend, and Mamita are in a relationship. After hearing this, is Mamida Paiju falling in love with Nazlen and traveling with him? Isn’t it? ‘Premalu’ is a lively way to say that.

Although it is a Malayalam film, the story is set in Hyderabad so the title is ‘Premalu’. Although the story is set in Hyderabad, the screenplay, which is set to travel across South India, hides the identity of a Malayalam film and makes the audience laugh and enjoy it, forgetting that it is a conventional love story.

Nazlen, who acted as the hero’s friend in some films, is now playing the hero. Although there are many opportunities to sing a sad song about falling in love at first sight, melting for that love, and then dying because of the failure of love, Naslen, who makes fans laugh everywhere, does not feel sorry for the fans even if he cries and cries in love failure. He has done justice to his role by acting as Velanthi.

Mameetha Baiju, who is playing the female lead, shows all the emotions from the enunciation, body language, passing without taking anything too seriously, dealing with her friendship with Naslen and facing his love and makes us enjoy scene after scene. No matter how many characters are around her, Mamita Baiju, who has the ability to put all of them aside with her performance and make herself stand out, will surely become an important actress in Indian cinema.

Sangeet Pratap, who plays the hero’s friend, grabs attention with his timing comedy. Shyam Mohan’s villainy, despite being the hero’s love interest, is childish and laugh-out-loud. Akila Bargavan, Meenakshi Ravindran, who plays the heroine’s friend, Sameer Khan, Altab Salim, who plays the office mates have also acted in other roles to add strength to the screenplay.

Cinematographer Ajmal Sabu, who has elegantly displayed the cities of Chennai and Hyderabad shining in lights and rural areas of Kerala and Andhra Pradesh shining in nature, has colorfully displayed the happy moments of the youth and conveyed their feelings to the fans through his camera.
