Filmmaker A L Raja who has directed movies like ‘Ninaikadha Naalillai’, ‘Theekuchi’ and ‘Aggiravva’ (Telugu) has now helmed an album titled ‘Oru Vina, Oru Vidai’.

Director A L Raja has worked as assistant and associate directors in movies such as ‘Chinna Mappilai’, ‘Mahana dhi’, ‘Vietnam Colony’, ‘Sengottai’ and ‘Kannupada Pogudhaya’.

Speaking about the album, director A L Raja said, “Music composer R S Ravipriyan and lyricist Senthamizh had collaborated for a song. They composed the song based on a particular situation and approached me to direct visuals for it. Since they are very good friends of mine, I took up the task which is complete now.”

Director A L Raja further said that the uniqueness of the song is that the male lead Sri Hari is a differently abled who cannot speak and hear.

“Sri Hari is immensely talented. He has already acted as protagonist in a Malayalam flick. He is good in dancing too. I was sure that he would fit well in the song and he has done complete justice. I am very much impressed wi th Sri Hari’s performance that I am thinking of making him play the lead role in my next flick after my upcoming movie ‘Sooriyanum Sooriygandhiyum which has Vidharth, Appu Kutty, Vikram Sundar, Black Paandi and Santha nabharathi in prominent roles. R S Ravirpiyan has been roped in as the music composer for this film as well,” he said.

Director A L Raja added that love is the main theme of the song. “Love can be hidden, but can never be forgotten is what we have tried to convey through this album. People who have watched the song have appreciated it and compared it with Gautham Vasudev Menon’s songs,” he said.
