Story-;
Mother Janaki Suresh lives in North Chennai. He has two sons Karikalan (Linga) & Govalan (Beechangai Karthik). They have no father. At a young age, Linga kills a man who tried to misbehave with his mother. So the child grow s up in a reformatory school. The mother has a lot of affection for her eldest son who went to prison for her. Kar thik laments that he is not getting proper affection due to this. At one point the younger brother struggles to get his brother paroled to perform the funeral rites when his mother dies. Linga tries to escape from jail before this. This causes problems in getting parole. And a gang waiting with linga on. Has he finally got parole? Did he give hi s mother the last rites? What did that rowdy gang do? That is the rest of the story of the film.

Produced by Tripper Entertainment, Parole is released in theaters on November 11. This film is directed by Dwa rak Raja, who directed the 2017 film Kadhal Kasakuthaiya. Parol stars Linga and RS Karthik in lead roles. The cin ematographer and music director of Parol are all newcomers. Ever since the release of the trailer of the film, the fans have been waiting for this film. Every now and then in the Tamil film industry, some of the films released wit h newcomers in the lead will make you say that they are bad. To what extent did the movie Parol, which is said to be adamant, attract the fans? Mother Janaki Suresh has two sons. One is RS Karthik. Another is Linga. In this, th e eldest son, Linga, went to a juvenile reform school at an early age and returned to commit many murders as a m ercenary .
Younger son R.S. Karthik works as a plumber and takes care of the house and his mother. Mother Janaki Suresh h as immense love for her eldest son. He is living with the idea of somehow correcting him and bringing him to the right path. At the same time, the mother of the younger son, RS Karthi, is more jealous of his older son, Linga, wh o is so fond of her elder son. In this situation, the elder son Linga goes to jail after committing double murder and getting double life sentence. When the mother tries to plead for mercy to somehow free the elder son Linga, the younger son RS Karthik who hates them stops it.His mother Janaki dies because he wants to be the first son of hi s mother. Brother RS Karthik decides to complete the last rites for his mother without his brother’s knowledge due to jealousy and hatred towards his brother.
Brother Linga and younger brother Karthik are often bickering siblings. Linga is in jail as the main culprit, and her younger brother Karthik tries to get his brother paroled after his mother dies unexpectedly. Did he get parole in this? Isn’t it? That is the story of Parole. Parol is an equally important story for both Karthik and Linga. Using it pr operly, both of them have performed amazingly. The two female characters and all the actors in the film are give n importance. However, with the intervention of his own ties and friends, his brother RS Karthik tries to get his brother Linga on parole. Subsequently, did Annan Linga get parole or not? Why did the brother become such a br utal murderer? What is the action taken by the brother? That is the rest of the story of the film.Even though it is a small story, director Dwarak Raja has chosen a slightly different story and made a good screenplay for it and m ade it elegant and enjoyable.
The fact that the film is elegant and full of twists and turns from start to finish is a plus and adds to the film’s edg e. The way the screenplay is set up at many places reminds of the movie Vikramveda, but the speed of the screen play, innovative scenes and realistic performances of the actors in it, have been the strength of the film and it has received applause in the theatres. Especially after the shooting of the film, I compiled the scenes in a proper way in the post-production and arranged the screenplay in a linear way from front to back according to it, which has improved the film even more.The heroes RS Karthi and Linga have acted in competition. The chemistry between these two is better than the hero and heroine chemistry and adds strength to the film. Especially the performan ce of his mother Janaki along with these two is excellent and adds to their chemistry.
Even in the small scenes, Director Dwarak Raja has inserted in the story what needs to be done to get a parole w ithout deviating from the truth. The screenplay in the film adds extra strength to Parol. Although there are ma ny films in Tamil cinema centered on Vadachenna, Parol is unique among them. Both action scenes and sentime ntal scenes are shown on the screen in an excellent manner. The director has taken this story, which is told in a linear manner, in such a way that the fans can understand it, special praise to the editor who has edited the story in suc h a proper way. both the heroes have correctly understood the facial expressions and the performance criteria and have shown it beautifully and realistically and are attracting attention.In particular, Linga, who has acted as a supporting actor in many films, has acted well in this film and is gaining attention among the fans.
The other main hero of the film, RS Karthik, who got attention with his previous film Ennanga Char Unga Chatha m, has gone a step further with this film and has given a realistic performance, gaining attention and applause fro m the audience. After them, actress Vinothini, who is playing the main role of a lawyer in the film, has absorbed t he character very well and has shown a realistic performance very well, supporting the story and the flow of the story. His usual down-to-earth pop performance adds strength to the screenplay. The film’s camera work, songs, background music are all strong points for the film. They shot the film directly on the field without any set work. The humor in court related scenes has worked well in many places. Especially the fight scene in the climax is am azing.
Considering the budget of the film, some scenes have been changed as per the requirement. However, they do no t detract from the story. The fight between brother and sister will resonate with many. Although the heroines K alpika Ganesh and Monisha Murali appear in the film as regular heroines, they have done their work very realisti cally and well.Cinematographer Mahesh has captured the local slum in Chennai very realistically and elegantly a nd taken us to that place. His exquisite cinematography complements the screenplay. The background score is b etter than the small songs composed by Rajkumar Amal and takes the film to another level. He has thrilled the au dience with excellent music in action scenes and sentimental scenes.Although the film is full of twists and turns f rom the beginning to the end, the audience is entertained by the excellent screenplay, but only a few confusing s cenes at the end of the film could have been shown more clearly. However, it did not affect the film much and Vij ay Sethupathi’s voice made up for it.
