Pambattam  Tamil movie review

Actor jeevan won a place in the hearts of Tamil fans with the film Nan avan illai. Pambattam is the film made in his acting. Written and directed by Vaduvaidyan, the film stars Salil Ankola, Ramesh Khanna, Andrea Gurunathan, Livingston, Karate Raja, Rickin, Saravanan, Sakthi Saravanan, Ritika Sen, Mallika Sherawat, Suman. Amrish composed the music, Inian and Suresh handled the cinematography and editing. Jeevan plays dual roles as father and father in this film. This film, which was not released for a long time, is now released in theaters.

In this pre-independence story, Rani Mahadevi is ruling her kingdom. At that time a soothsayer says that you will die of snakebite. Queen Mahadevi orders all the snakes in the kingdom to be captured. A snake escapes from it and kills him, and Josiah says that the daughter of Rani Maha Devi is in the same danger. Due to this they leave the town. After that, the ghost of the queen is said to haunt the palace. In this case, Jeevan comes as a police officer to investigate this, and what happened after that is the story of the film pambattam.

Pambattam is a film full of action, adventure and fantasy. Jeevan has played two roles namely father and son. His scenes as a police officer were well shot. Mallika Sherawat who plays the role of Rani has given a good performance. Suman, Ritika Sen, Livingstone and Sakthi Saravanan who are playing the role of police officers have also given good performances as per the characters.

Although the first half is a bit slow, the second half is full of twists and turns. A few more scenes may be cut in this story which is only two hours and ten minutes long. Amrish background music was good. Since it is a small budget film, they did not spend much on CG scenes. It would have turned out to be a better film if only a little attention had been paid to it.
