Daughter’s father, MS Bhaskar, wants to conduct his daughter’s wedding in a good manner. He mortgages his land to Vela Ramamurthy to conduct the marriage. MS Bhaskar goes missing when he is going to pay back the loan taken in a certain period. As a result, his wife Sriranjini went to the police station and lodged a complaint. Thamankumar, the protagonist, investigates this case. Next in line to Taman Kumar is the case of a young woman who was mysteriously murdered. In these two incidents, Tamankumar tries to find out the truth, and unexpected events happen one after the other. What actually happened in both incidents? What was the reason for the murder of the young woman? What happened to MS Bhaskar? That is the rest of the story.
Also Vela Ramamurthy, Fruit. Karupiya, Deepa Shankar, MS Bhaskar, tea shopkeeper, salon shopkeeper, all the characters have given perfect performances. Director Manivarman has directed this film with the basic philosophy that the events that happen in our life or the decisions we take in a moment can turn our lives upside down.
He has created lively scenes throughout the film. Manivarman has directed the Sachpans thriller that leaves the viewers wondering who the perpetrators are.
The director has handled the climax scenes very skillfully by combining all the elements. KG Ratheesh has handled the cinematography very beautifully according to the vivacity of the film.
Sanjay Manickam’s background music is the genre.Production Madurai Alaghar Movies and White Lamp Pictures have jointly produced the movie Ekon Sod.
