Story-;
Viju Prasad is a small-time motivational speaker living in Kanyakumari with his mentally unstable younger bro th er, Kunjan. When Kunjan commits suicide,Viju is devastated and relocates to Mumbai. There through a casti ng director named Kavitha whom he had once met at Kanyakumari, Viju meets fraudsters Solomon Davis and Issac Thomas, who hire Viju to pose as a Christian pastor and perform hoax miracles. He is sent to Kochi where he is trained for his role by their associate Avarachan, who changes Viju’s name to Joshua Carlton. Initially hesi tant, Viju successfully transforms into the character of Joshua. He captures the devotion of many and help Solo mon and Issac’s enterprise grow into a global phenomenon.
At the height of his fame, Joshua is invited to an TV interview by a reporter named Matthews. On air, Matthews demands a live miracle. Joshua secretly drugs Matthews during a commercial break, causing him to collapse in front of the camera. The event is initially hailed as a miracle but a subsequent blood report proves that he was drugged. Furious at having put their enterprise in trouble and risk of public exposure, Solomon and Issac attack Joshua, leading him to be hospitalised with severe head injuries. He remains in coma for two days and they dec ide to quietly kill him to avoid any further trouble.
On the third day, Joshua starts moving about and shatters the glass by his bedside. He then goes into a psyche delic trance & revives, making a miraculous recovery. He renegotiates his deal with Solomon and Issac to secure 80% of the profits for himself. Suspecting that Joshua is mentally ill, Solomon and Issac agree. They appoint a mo del and sex worker named Esther Lopez to observe him and determine whether his illness is an act. Esther hers elf has a past of being cheated in a relationship, giving birth to a child, falling into depression and then coming into the profession. Esther eventually grows close to Joshua and believes that he is really unstable. When she reports this to Solomon and Issac, she is immediately taken away. Avarachan tries to convince Joshua that Est her was a figment of his imagination.
Meanwhile, a poor man named Thomas who is an ardent follower of Joshua, tries to cure his young daughter’s fever through his miracle cures. When she ultimately succumbs to her sickness, Joshua is devastated. He comes clean to Thomas and points him to Solomon and Isaac as the masterminds behind the scam. Joshua tries to publi cise the truth by sending a confessional tape to Matthews. Matthews is killed on Solomon’s orders but in his dy ing moments, manages to air the video. As it goes public, Avarachan suffers a fatal stroke. Thomas kills Solomon and Isaac to avenge his daughter’s death.
Joshua is acquitted from his crimes due to his mental state and spends time at a rehabilitation centre. When he recovers, he learns that Esther is in fact a real person and sets out to Amsterdam to find her. He finds her in one of the glass cubicles in the Red light area in Amsterdam. They see each other, and as she runs to him, the film cuts to black to the sound of shattering glass.

After eight years, the film directed by Anwar Rashid, cinematography by hit director Amal Neerath and Fqat Ba sil-Nasriya teaming up, NILAI MARANDHAVAN created anticipation from the day it was announced. Starting from India’s southern tip, Kanyakumari, the film stretches to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. That is what this film is all about. A film that tries to tell the stories that are going on in the name of an unforgettable ar tifact. It means business done in the name of deity. Nasriya, Selabeen Shakir, Srinath Basi, Vinayak, Gautham Va sudevan, Semban Vinod, Dileesh Bothan are in this film, but the artist Fagat stands throughout the film. Next to this, Dileesh Bothan’s contribution adds strength. Anwar Rasheed, Amal Neerath, Rasool Pookutty and other gr eat artists have made the film technically sophisticated.
The screenplay has the hero of a deranged family heir to tell a business in the name of god. His family members also die from this decay. He is a part-time self-employed business owner. The film depicts the similarities betwe en the self-confidence business and the preaching business. The veil removes the corporate faces behind the reli gious institutions. Just as television programs like ‘reality shows’ are conducted with a strict schedule, so are the miracles of religious education classes in this film. The mental breakdown of the film’s hero, Faasil, has been cle arly displayed through piecemeal scenes. The ceiling fan, the colorful fish, the pills are repeated in a montage; Th ey also make the audience feel the bitterness of that mind. Similarly, lakhs of depraved minds have been displa yed together.
These catechism scenes in the film and Phagat’s sermon are quite disturbing to the audience. Phagat’s daily life is not clearly depicted in the first part, which takes place in Kanyakumari. The twisted stories that the preacher tells to charm the people are like mullah stories that have been heard hundreds of times. The interesting narrat ive of religious institutions as the corporate behind them does not go beyond that; The picture is stuck. Nasriya’s character of Esther is a doozy. But he also has background scenes. It is a separate film. The development of the religious teacher is happening as fast as ‘Arunachalam’. The only drawback is that there is no background music. The film itself has violated the nature of the characters it creates in many places. The film falters at several poi nts in its depiction of Fakat’s depravity. The ending of the film is not realistic at all. This is the mental mutation that is mainly told in the film
