Story-;
Both Swathi and Nanda are in love. Both are studying medicine. Both of them want to express their love at home. But there’s a problem, both of them belong to a different community. Swati tells her father more than once, and he scolds Swati. He murders Nanda in front of Swathi. Then he marries Swathi to someone else. A few months la ter, Swathi becomes pregnant, but her husband is not responsible for the pregnancy. Then Swathi tells her husba nd what happened to her and the rest of the film is about what happened to Swathi’s life after that…

As the movie starts, the husband is waiting on the first night. The wife comes in. When she comes in and starts ta lking to her husband, she starts telling her old stories. She says that she was in love with a man and he was killed by her father. Then what decision the husband takes and what decision the wife takes This is why the Ennao dire ctor titled them Navayuga Kannagi. Movie Title Super, The heroine’s performance is great, a story that is needed in today’s society, the songs and background music are okay. The bad words in the film, the climax may have bee n directly spoken by the director, on the whole this Navayuga Kannagi is a film (lesson) that is necessary for tod ay’s society.

Not willing to accept this love, Swati’s father and relatives kill Nanda. W anting to take revenge on her father, Sw ati captures Nanda’s dead body, extracts the cells from the body with me dical help and injects it into her body. T his makes her pregnant. Unbeknownst to this, the father arranges for Sw ati’s marriage. The director has given t he film as a whip to caste around this situation. In western countries there have been incidents where some hu sbands who die due to accidents or other causes have taken cells from the bo dy of their wives and implanted th em into their wombs to conceive a child. The director has turned this into a fe ature that looks at the caste syste m of our Tamil country. Ambedkar, Buddha, Periyar have Dalit symbols throu ghout the film. All of the small cast have done well. Pavitra who plays Swathi gives a sublime performance as she screams when her lover dies and transforms into a modern woman.
