Nayadi means a kind of caste who lived 800 years ago, they lived as slaves, they were blessed with the blessings of some deities and attained some powers, with that power they could change their bodies and survive for many years, Nayadi are the ones who can do this. A person comes to Adarsh and their friends, the hero of the story wh o puts a video on YouTube, and asks for a favor, that is, the old man has an estate in the hills and there is some su pernatural movement near it, so you come and videotape that there is nothing there.After they all go to the esta te a mysterious figure appears and some mysterious things happen. Terrified by the figure, they try to descend fr om the mountain, while trying to do so, they keep coming back to the same place, and finally they escape from th ere? or not And the meaning of Nayadi is the rest of the story of the film…

Adarsh Madhikantham from Tamil Nadu has been working as a metro train driver in Sydney, Australia. He inve st ed the money he earned from it in cinema. Accordingly, he produced and directed the film ‘Nayadi’ and pla yed the hero character. Kathambari as the heroine and popular YouTuber Fabi also played the lead roles. Arun has co mposed the music for the film. The film begins with the story of Naiyadis, Kerala’s most backward tribal commun ity. Enslaved people learn magic, including witchcraft, to protect themselves from humans and animals. Meanwh ile, a group of 6 friends including Adarsh Madhikantham, Kathambari and Fabi, who runs a YouTube channel,
is assigned an assignment.A man who has bought a place in Kerala says that there is a supernatural presence of Nayadi people there. He asks to take a video to convince people about this. Many supernatural things happen to the group who go there in search of money. 3 people are killed while trying to escape. Finally Gadambari tries to kill Adarsh Madikantham as well. Why should he kill Adarsh? What is the real status of Nayadi people? This film tries to describe that.The story of the film has raised expectations but the weak screenplay has belied it. Especia lly if it’s a ghost film? No talking about the supernatural?
As there are many sub-stories, the question arises as to what they are trying to tell. In this type of thriller films, t he audience has to be connected with the story from the very beginning. Adarsh Madhikanthan, who is playing the lead role, is an apt choice for the role and has done a fine job unlike the first film. Kathambari, who plays the female lead, has done her job flawlessly and is intimidating in an unexpected role in the final scene. Pepiyan, Sar avanan, Aravind, Ravichandran, Geeta Lakshmi are all newcomers but they have done their job well. Even thou gh the story takes place in one place, the cinematographer Moses Daniel, who has shot the scenes by rotating t he camera, has traveled according to the story.
Music composer Arun’s background music, though befitting of a horror film, travels a bit too far at places.Adarsh Madhikanthan, who plays the lead role, has directed and produced the film. The man who has scripted and direc ted the historical story about the Nayadi community is a little hesitant in telling it.Although the story of the Nay adi community told through the background voice at the beginning of the film is interesting, the screenplay and visuals created by director Adarsh Madhikanthan keeping it as the core is boring.Although the information abo ut the Nayadis in the film raises expectations, the director’s way of telling it is eloquent.
However, director and actor Adarsh Madhikanthan can be praised for giving such a film as possible with a small budget.In this it is missing. And they thought they could show fear through music. That didn’t work out to a great extent either. The actors in the film may still be perfecting their acting. The absence of songs was a big plus, and t he climax was unexpected. On the other hand, kudos to director Adarsh Madhikantham for taking up the story o f Nayadi people which has never been told on screen..! mThe film begins with the story of Naiyadis, Kerala’s mos t backward tribal community.

For a historical account of the Nayadi communityThey left be hind a weak screenplay.
