Movie Review-;

The younger sister of Mari, the hero of the story, may have attempted suicide in Kollimalai. In an attempt to save him, Mari takes him to the government hospital there. The hospital is locked because there is no one there. Then he takes him to a government hospital in the city. But Mari’s younger sister dies. Directed by Saravanan, who has directed movies like ‘Engeyum Vaamit’ and ‘Ivan Aye Kamal’, Darshan, Mahima Nambiar, Singam Puli and RS Shiv aji will release this week’s film ‘Nadu’. The film “Nadu” is about the struggle of the mountain villagers, who suffer without a doctor, to retain a woman doctor who finally comes to their village.In the absence of a doctor in a prim ary health center in a hilly village in the Kollimalai range of Namakkal district, casualties are inevitable. All the d octors and nurses assigned to that hill village are transferred within a week or a month and leave. Due to this, th e people of the hills, who are losing hope, have no choice but to imprison the government bus and demand that w e will release the bus only if a permanent doctor is appointed for us.

The District Collector, who accepted their request and came to talk peace with them, regretted that no doctor wants to come to this village due to lack of facilities, and that the doctors who are forced to be sent to this villa ge are forced to change their place of work. Now with great effort I am sending a doctor to your village, and to that doctor he says that if this town and you are captured, he will not leave this village, it is in your hands. With no other choice, the villagers agree and the doctor comes. The hero and the villagers are fighting a great battle to get him to behave as he likes. What happened in the end is the story of this movie “Nadu”.Nayagan Darshan has played the role of one of the hill dwellers. I never expected such a mature performance from Darshan, so his cultured performance is a pleasant surprise and charming.

From the scene where he runs through forested hills to save his younger sister who is trying to commit suicide an d is loaded into an oncoming ambulance, to the scene where he takes a new doctor in their town and makes the  town a favorite place for him, the decisions he makes along with the villagers are all dominated by ignorance, eve n if the purpose of those activities is behind it. A town’s future and pain resonate within us. Starting from trying to make the place where the doctor comes to stay with all facilities, the tea, coffee, food he eats, the env ironme nt in which he goes for a walk in the morning, trying to change the odors coming from the body of the hill people, and in the final attempt to make the doctor stay in their village, can we make him a daughter-in-law of their villa ge? Asking stupidly and pretending how to put that stupid question to him makes everyone cringe in the recurs ion scene. We are not qualified to ask you that. But we have a strong reason why we are asking that’, our heart bre aks and we shed tears for those hill dwellers. It can be said that it was the success of Darshan’s performance. Hats off Darshan Pro! Mahima believed as a doctor.

Even if he is a reluctant doctor, without showing excessive hatred or anger, his unfailing commitment to comple te his work with discipline in the short time he is here makes the character of the doctor sacred. At one point, Ko onik gets to know the lifestyle of the mountain villagers, their problems, the things they do for him, just to stay in the mountain village, and tears our hearts in the blink of an eye. ‘I could not stay here even if I wanted to; Please don’t make me feel guilty’ when we break down and cry, a sadness more than the feeling of guilt afflicts us like th e villagers. Mahima steals our hearts by brilliantly portraying the mental struggle between emotions and lifes tyl es on screen. Singam Puli has played the role of the village leader of the mountain people. The way he takes deci sions with the villagers to entertain the new doctor in the town and the way he conducts the villagers is special. He brings before our eyes the leader of a hill village in his acting and decision-making maturity.

Covering up RS Shivaji’s death, he dazzles the townspeople in the scene where he pleads ‘don’t cry’ and in the cl imactic scene where processions are sent from the town to the doctor’s wedding.RS Shivaji, who comes across as one of the hill dwellers, also delivers a compelling performance.  The backstory he tells is dense and intertw ines with the central story of medicine. Similarly, Aruldas, who plays the role of the district collector, knows his role in the film and has given a compelling performance without demonstration. Inba Ravikumar, who plays Dar shan’s friend and the son of the headman of the village, makes us laugh by sprinkling humor here and there to lig hten the intensity of the film.Satya’s music gives a new dimension to the film and starts instilling in us the feeling of the film right from the opening scene. As Darshan talks about his sister’s tragic death, as the doctor pleads wit h him not to make him feel guilty, we can feel our pulse in the background music as Darshan consults with his fr iends on how to use the last brahmastra to retain the doctor.

Sakthivel’s camera beautifully captures the mists of Kollimalai and the Kolli mountain range with the world’s hi ghest number of needle bends, without spoiling the intensity of the story and enthralls the audience. Kudos to these two technicians for making such a wonderful contribution.It must be said that director M. Saravanan, who has already proved himself with romantic and action films like ‘Anywhere’ and ‘Ivan Aye Ka’, has succeeded in ta king a different, socially necessary plot that demands our attention. It is also commendable that “NEET” has kept things related to the examination without insisting on the story related to medicine and doctors, instead of tryin g to make the ending of the film cinematic, it has shown what happens in normal real life. It goes without say ing that Saravanan is a skilled director with every choice of character, even from young actors like Darshan, who get amazing performances. Similarly, when naming the baby, he paid attention to even the smallest details like Muthuletsumi.

My appreciation and best wishes to the producers Chakra Raj team on behalf of Shree Ark Media and Entertain ment Pvt Ltd for coming forward to produce a film with such a plot and successfully releasing it.An art should re late to the mind of man and give him the driving force to transform him from the present hierarchy to a better m an. A small spark for a social change to occur must be planted in the minds of the audience. The truth is that the film has done both. A child or a medical student who watches this film may realize the plight of the people and re write their life’s mission as providing medical service to them throughout their lives. Or as Darshan says in the climax scene, a child in the hill country can make himself a superior doctor for his people, or the ruling governm ent can provide some other medical facilities for the women if their suffering is brought to the attention of the government. Whatever happens out of these three is happiness. Director M. Saravanan and his team have sown the seed for that through the movie “Nadu”. Greetings and greetings with love and respect.

All in all we can assure you that Naadu is one of the important screen works that all our people should not miss in their lifetime. Go with the family and watch the movie on the screen and we as human beings will try to impro ve the human being that we have.He has given an outstanding performance as a mountain youth. He dazzles us with his body language, speech and at one point natural acting. Mahima Nambiar as the doctor gives a great perf ormance as the character who travels with the story and does a fine job in the final scene.The late actor RS Sivaji who plays Darshan’s father and Siddappa, Singam Puli who plays the role of the town leader, Aruldas who plays the role of collector,

Inba Ravikumar and Vasantha, all the actors have played the characters that are suitable for the story and have done well. Music: C. Sathya, Cinematography: KA Sakthivel, Art: Lalgudi. The contribution of all the technical ex perts including N. Ilayaraja, editor P.K is the lifeblood of the screenplay. The country has real-life incidents that point out that healthcare is still an elusive dream for the underprivileged living on the fringes of society. Director M Saravanan has created the screenplay realistically emphasizing the need for good hospitals and good doctors with service attitude in every village. All in all, Naaad produced by Chakra and Raj on behalf of SriArch Media an d Entertainment Pvt Ltd will keep everyone attentive and satisfied.
