Story-;
The story of this film is based on the punch line “Kadalku ediri castinna..antha castiku enedir kadaltha nda..” Ho wever, in a village in Tamil Nadu, caste is everything. There is a caste-obsessed gang in Avvur who is looking for c ouples who have changed their caste and are killing them. Many casteists are persecuting the people involved in the name of caste pride, saying that there is an unrequited love between a girl named ‘Theivam’ who belongs to a n upper caste who dreams of becoming an IAS and Selva, a young man of a lower caste who dreams of being a pol ice officer in that village. In this way, instead of spreading a lie about them, Deiva and Sella truly fall in love. Beca use of this, the caste-obsessed mob is bent on destroying the romantic couple at every available opportunity.At one point, the heroine is placed in the middle of the town and gets her hair cut. Beyond this, many members of th e girl’s caste decide to stand on one leg and kill her as a deity.Was the heroine killed after this? Did Sella and Dei va join in life? What is the real reason for this casteism? The rest of the story of the film is the answer to such que stions.

Movie Review-;
With many newcomers, director M. Mundrikkadu is a film directed by Kalanjiam. What is the end point of this fil m which talks about murders and casteism? Buy to see. Mundrikkadu is a film based on the punch line “Is caste t he enemy of love..is caste the enemy of love?”. In a village in Tamil Nadu, caste is everything. There, a caste-obses sed gang in Avvur hunts down and murders couples who change caste. In that village, an upper caste girl named ‘Theivam’ who dreams of being an IAS and a low caste boy Selva who dreams of being a police officer have an unr equited love and harass the people involved in the name of caste pride.Instead of creating a lie, Deiva and Sella really fall in love. Thus. The caste mob, whenever available, is bent on destroying the romantic couple. At one poi nt, the heroine is placed in the middle of the town and her hair is cut off.
Beyond this, the caste members of the woman decided to stand on one leg and kill her as if she wanted the deity, Selathan. Was the heroine murdered? Did Sella and Deiva join in life? What is the reason for this casteism? Scre enplay is the answer to such questions. Mundrikkadu is a film based on the caste massacres that took place in va rious places in Tamil Nadu. Kudos to the director for realistically showing that people belonging to different ca st es are being brutally killed in the name of caste and many educated youths are involved in such caste fanatic acti vities. However, “caste.. caste..” is spoken throughout the film by a villager, not to be believed. The scenes of love and the scenes of the couple fighting for it, do not stand out in the mind. The main reason for that is the perf orm ance of the newcomers.In the film, there is no mention of speed bumps. If you go fast enough to block!
All the songs are of the lower genre.Despite entering the field as a fresh face, Subhapriya Malar carries the ent ire film single-handedly. Climax emotional scene gets 10/10 mark. Coming as a hero, fame needs some more tra ining. Jayarao has played the heroine’s father.Naam Tamilar Party coordinator, actor and director Seeman, like S amuthirakani in ‘Chattai’, gives advice to the caste-obsessed youth throughout the film. In the film, he comes as a police officer, and in many scenes like speaking on stage during party meetings, he speaks dialogues in layered la nguage as Tamil pride-the characteristic of Tamils and gets applause here and there. Many people came to see th e film for him.If you look at who is the hero of the film, it is not the actors or the main characters. In this, the love between caste-crossing lovers is shown as the hero and the caste that separates them as the villain.
“Love is the only weapon to eradicate caste” is a bit hard to accept. It is not acceptable to say to the caste-obse ss ed people in the rural areas, “Move to the city, stay there and die without thinking about caste.” Because it seems to deny the existence of caste in the cityAll in all, if the point had been made a little more emphatically, Mundrik kadu film would have attracted many people’s attention.Mundrikkadu is a film released based on the short novel ‘Pethavan’ written by writer Imaiyam and screenplay by director Kalanjiyam.At the very beginning of the film, t wo caste lovers are brutally murdered. In the same village, Deivam, the heroine who dreams of being an IAS, falls in love with Sella, the hero who dreams of being a policeman. Both of them belong to different castes and hinder their love, the dominant caste.
Despite all their threats and attacks, did Deiva and Sella unite? No? That is the rest of the story of the film .Petha van, a short novel written by writer Imaiyam, is a very important story written in a very important time. The sam e has been made by director M. Kalanjiam as a film of almost three hours. It is a disappointment that the movie ‘Mundrikkadu’ did not give the reading experience that ‘Pethavan’ gave. Although this story has nothing to do w ith politics, the director has destroyed the core of the story by talking about it. All the characters speak page by page and leave us breathless!Before the final scene, the director has realistically depicted the grief of his family to kill the deity. This is the greatest consolation of the film.The heroine Subapriya, who is playing the role of a go ddess, is surprised .In the film Mundrikkadu, there is no such thing as speed bumps.
If you go fast enough to block! All the songs are arranged in roughly the following genre.Also, despite entering t he field as a new face, heroine Subhapriya Malar carries the entire film with one hand. Apart from that, he has ac ted amazingly in the climax emotional scene. And it has to be said that a little more training is needed for fame to come as a hero. Similarly, it is commendable that Jayarao has given his life as the heroine’s father.Seeman, the lea der of Naam Tamilar Party, an actor and director, like Samuthirakani in the film ‘Chattai’, has been giving various advices to the caste-obsessed youth throughout the film.Also, in the film, he plays the role of a police officer, wh ile talking on the stage during the party meetings, in many scenes of the film, he speaks in a layered language ab out the pride of Tamils and the characteristics of Tamils.
It can be said that there are many fans who came to see the film for him.If we look at who is the hero of the film, it can be said that it is not the actors or the main characters. In this, the love between caste-crossing lovers has b een shown as the hero and the caste that separates them as the villain.Apart from that, it is generally difficult for everyone to accept the idea that “Love is the only weapon to eradicate caste.” It is not appropriate in this film to say to those who are obsessed with caste in the rural areas, “Move to the city.. Stay there and die without thinki ng about caste..” Because it is like denying the existence of caste in the city.On the whole, it can be said that the movie Mundrikkadu would have attracted a lot of people’s attention if it had summarized the idea a little more strongly.
