MULTI-SPECIALITY MEDICAL CAMP CONDUCTED AT KARAIKAL BY INDIAN NAVY ON THE OCCASION O F NAVY DAY-2023
As part of the Navy Day Celebrations 2023, a two-day multi-speciality Medical Camp using Portable Cont ainerised Medical Facility (PCMF) onboard INS Gharial was conducted by Eastern Naval Command of Indian Na vy at Karaikal harbour. The Camp was inaugurated by Rear Admiral RK Dhingra, Flag Officer Commanding Tamil nadu and Puducherry Naval Area (FOTNA).
The Camp witnessed a huge turnout of local populace. More than 1,000 people, including ladies and child ren, benefited from the camp by undergoing medical check-ups and treatment facilities on 16th and 17th Octo ber. NCC Cadets and Nursing Staff from Karaikal provided the necessary support for the smooth conduct of the Camp.
