Following the success of the2019action blockbuster ‘The Lion King,’ the film ‘Mu fasa: The Lion King’
Is set to be released on December 20, 2 024. In the Tamil version, Arjun Das voi ices the character of Mufasa, while Ash ok Selvan voices Taka. Robo Shankar an d Singam Puli provide the voices for Pu mbaa and Timon, respectively. Actor VT V Ganesh voices the younger version of Rafiki, and actor M. Nassar voices Kiros .

Actor Nassar said, “I have worked in ma ny films as an actor and dubbing artist. I like the voices of Sivaji sir, Amitabh Bac hchan sir, Raja Annan. In this, Sivaji sir’s voice is my ideal. No matter how old you are, there will always be a child inside yo u. So, this is not just a film for children al one, but for grownups as well. We have an abundance of ancient legends and his torical tales that deserve to be beautifu lly showcased on screen.”
Actor Singampuli said, “I consider the op portunity of voice acting for ‘The Lion Ki ng’ as a priceless gift. Every character in this movie is unique. I am so happy to ha ve rendered voice for Timon character.”
Actor Arjun Dass said, “All the characte rs in this film have a lot of emotion. So, u nlike dubbing for other films, I took scru tinising efforts in voice acting. I hope an d believe that you all will like it. I am also a big fan of Mufasa. I think the circle has come full circle for me that I got the opp ortunity in this film.”
Actor Ashok Selvan, “This is the first tim me, I am doing voice acting for an animal character. It was a surreal and great exp perience, and I got an opportunity to lea rn a lot of new things.”
