MoU between BSNL and All India Manufacturers’ Organization (AIMO)
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the Government of India Enterprise is
entering the MoU with All India Manufacturers Organization (AIMO) for benefiting
industrial community in a function held at Chennai.
The objectives of this MOU include:
Collaborating on research and innovation projects that advance the field of
telecommunications.
Developing and delivering capacity-building programs and skill training
initiatives for youth focusing on employment and entrepreneurship in telecom
technologies.
Providing mentorship to start-ups in the telecommunications sector to
enhance their growth and sustainability.
Fostering educational resources and knowledge-sharing platforms to enhance
learning outcomes and promoting employment opportunities and
entrepreneurship among the youth in the telecommunications sector.
BSNL Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver specialized training programs and workshops based on
industry requirements in the field of telecom technologies and leverage its facilities
and expertise to host incubation and mentorship programs for startups, especially
in the area of emerging technologies in telecom sector.
Use fund from AIMO for setting state-of art facility for industry at its various training
location to facilitate students for exploring solution of industry problems and
nurturing / realizing new ideas.
Facilitates students to get for apprentices amount through AIMO and will issue
joint certificate (AIMO and BSNL) of apprenticeship to the students after
successful completion of training period.
AIMO Roles and Responsibilities
Organize industry engagement events to promote the collaboration and support
marketing and promotion of joint programs and initiatives.
AIMO will coordinates with industry / MSME or through concerned ministry for the
fund requirement for setting test beds/ incubation centre, to solve industry R & D
problems.
AIMO will also arrange to fund through industry / MSME or through concerned
ministry for apprentices and will help students to get placed in industry through its
industry relations
The MoU between AIMO and BSNL will be opening an enormous opportunity
in terms of Enterprise business and training.
