Story-;

Vadivelu belongs to the Scheduled Caste and belongs to Samatthu Social Justice People’s Association. His son U dayanidhi. A low-caste boy who used to herd pigs while bathing in a pond with his friends as a child is enraged by some upper-caste boys who are enraged that they bathe in the pond of an upper-caste.Three friends die and the boy Udhayanidhi survives the murder. Udhayanidhi does not talk to her father because her father failed to give p roper punishment to the criminals. Vadivelu, who was an ordinary volunteer, became a member of the Legi slatu re of Salem District’s Kasipuram separate constituency, a member of Samatthu Social Justice People’s Kazhagam to declare the constituency as a reserve constituency. When his son Udayanidhi Stalin grew up, he trained the yo uth in underground fighting. Keerthy Suresh provides free education service to poor students. Due to this, Bhag at Basil’s elder brother’s educational institution is affected. This causes him to vacate the place. In this case, Uda yanidhi. helps He gives place in his place. Udayanidhi also comes to Stalin’s place and causes damage. 

In response, Udayanidhi Stalin’s group vandalized their place. Bhagat Basil, the district secretary of the party, w ho invites Vadivelu and Udayanidhi to his house to discuss this issue, asks Udayanidhi to sit alone. Even though he is an MLA, he insults Vadivelu by standing and talking instead of sitting. Udayanidhi, who had not spoken to her father for many years, is now speaking to her father with affection for the first time. Asking his father to sit there, Bhagat Basil says arrogantly, “Your father will not sit in front of us… this is what happens from time to ti me…”. Thus this word of mouth turns into a melee. Enraged, Udayanidhi beats up those who insulted his father. This problem goes to the top. After this, the story heats up in the election field, campaign, revenge and exciting scenes are staged and the film moves briskly. Did the dominant force win in the end? How did Udhayanidhi win the election? That is ‘mamannan’.

Mamannan has come out amid great expectations. In this film, the same problems faced by caste people are disc ussed in the earlier films directed by Mari Selvaraj. In the films Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan, the director had talked about the oppression of the Scheduled Castes by the dominant castes. Caste politics is at the center of par ties in Mamannan. Leaving Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi districts where he grew up, the director has set Salem as the story in Mamannan.The story moves through the way the scheduled caste candidate is treated and wins in a separate constituency where only the scheduled caste candidate can contest, and the dominant caste’s view on this candidate.

We read in the news papers that even when Dalit leaders win as panchayat presidents in many places in Tamil Na du, they are not even given a chair in public meetings. This is the central problem in this film.The director has use d various Dalit symbols throughout this film. Photographs of many leaders like Periyar, Che Guevara, Ambe dk ar are coming. Especially the statue of Buddha is often on display.. Hero Arundhatiyar is studying history in the libr ary. The director says that this is what he wants to say in the first twenty minutes of the film. The story goes in a straight line without turning anywhere.There are some things that are cinematic without being realistic like in th e previous films. For example, one hero beats down many people.

However, the director conveys the intensity and pain of the subject. Theni Iswar’s cinematography works with th e story by showing different lights in various scenes. AR. In Rahman’s music, the songs get more attention than t he background. Bhagat Basil has played the role of a flamboyant villain with Koncham, psychoticism and fake la ughter. The first person has given an unheard of assault performance. Kudos to the director for showing us a goo d-natured actor within Vadivel. M. L. A. He makes us believe that he is not just a comedian, even as he rages as a father-in-law, cannot accept caste discrimination and cries for the people of the village. Udaya Nidhi plays a con temporary youth who does not accept caste.

He has correctly expressed the feelings of speed and anger that belong to these generations. Udayanidhi can be praised for acting in the story that there is no social justice within the party which was established for social jus tice. Keerthy Suresh, who comes as a friend, does a great job as a one-way girl. Lal has shown a mature chief min ister in a few scenes. He has given a quiet performance. Mari Selvaraj says that Mamannan is Devar Magan’s Isa ki character. What will happen if Devar son’s Izaki stands up and hits back, that’s Mamannan! Udhayanidhi Stal in’s performance shines in the aggressively angry scenes.Bhagat Basil, who comes as the representative of the d ominant forces, effectively conveys the arrogance of power through his body language and gets applause.

Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu has given a different performance as the lead character in the title role as Mamannan, wit hout his usual comedy.The strength of the film is Vadivelu and Fahadh Faasil as the villain.Udayanidhi Stalin’s per formance is also very special in this film. The polish is many times higher than before.Keerthy Suresh has done ju stice to her performance.Vadivelu’s wife, Lal, the beauty Perumal’s performance is also excellent.Musical AR Ra hman songs are new and very nice. The background music plays a leading role in the film. It adds extra strength to the film. Theni Eshwar has handled the cinematography brilliantly.

Cinematography – Art direction is excellent.So all in all, Mamannan movie is so good that you can say aha, ooh, it is a good movie and fans are saying it as their favorite movie. So Udhayanidhi can act in cinema again with the sat isfaction of giving a good film.Director Mari Selvaraj Mamannan, who gave Pariyerum Perumal and Karnan two hits, has given Mamannan as his third hit. Mari Selvaraj is definitely one of the best directors in the world of Tam il cinema. Vetrikani has also directed the film Maman nan.
