Movie Review-;

This love film is actor Bharath’s 50th film. Ajay, the hero of the story, marries the heroine, Divya. Divya’s father di d not agree with this marriage. After 1 year of marriage, they both had an argument and ended in murder.Unexp ectedly, Divya dies due to Ajay’s actions. Ajay tries to cover up the murder, what problems does he face while try ing to cover up the murder and does he get away with it? Isn’t it? That is the rest of the story of the film… Bharat’ s 50th film ‘Love’ hit the screens yesterday. And it is an official remake of the Malayalam film of the same name.

Director RB Pala, who is known for his script writing work, has presented this film in the style of a thriller based on the relationship between husband and wife.  Ajay (Bharat) and Divya (Vani Bhojan) fall for each other and get married. After a year of family life that initially moves well, only fights remain. Ajay causes loss of crores in the n ame of business. Divya, who initially tolerates her husband, at one point thinks of leaving him. Director RB Pala has tried to give a thriller about what happened after the argument between the two. Directed by Khalid Rahm an is a Tamil remake of the 2020 Malayalam film ‘Love’ which was released live on Netflix.

While the film was celebrated for its technical excellence when it was released in Malayalam, its content was me t with criticism. Not enough. Well, is the movie ‘Love’ a success in Tamil? It can be seen now. If we look at the pos itive aspects of the film, the cinematography was better than the acting. PG Muthiah’s cinematography adds gre at strength to the film. The scenes between Bharat and Vani were believable. In terms of acting, Bharat gives a gr eat performance as he hesitates as a guilty man, avoids his wife’s questions with a smile, and then fights with a k nife. Vani Bhojan has only a handful of scenes to showcase her performance, which she makes good use of.

Both Vivek Prasanna and Daniel, who appear as Parath’s friends, have usually given template performances. The problem with the film is that the entire audience does not get the complete picture. The opening sequence of the film, where Bharatham and Vani Bhojan meet in a coffee shop, and a song that follows is very artificial. And any s cene focuses only on gimmicks like editing, camera, slow motion and not on whether the scene is interesting. The scenes where Vivek Prasanna enters the house and follows Daniel are all very artificial. Also, is this film about a person suffering from schizophrenia, domestic violence, extramarital affair?

What does this film ultimately want to say? It is not clear. ‘Love’ is a slightly less interesting film directed by Khali d Rahman. A remake of the film would not matter, it could have fixed its flaws and made it more appealing. It wo uld have been a watchable thriller if done right. Bharat gains weight and looks good. But the fear of killing the wi fe, if not on the face, must be there at least in the feelings. But having nothing like that is a minus. He and Vaniph ojan bring the original husband-wife fight to a close. Especially Vani Bhojan looks like a cute winking doll in the m inute he dies. Radharavi’s character is special as a loving father even in one scene.

Both Vivek Prasanna and Danny have given some justice to the character.The film is a remake of the 2020 Malay alam film Love. Although the plot of the film deals with a problem, the ego problem between the couple is well p ortrayed. It is interesting to note how the problem changes from house to house, starting with incidents of dome stic violence.And after a fight with his wife that leads to murder, Bharath advises his two friends on their family problems, reminiscent of the “tiger at home..cow outside” characters around us.

The film is full of scenes where he blames women when he has a problem and makes them think that violence is t he only solution to the problem. If you think about it, the whole problem is “Ego”. The tension in the story is missi ng from the scenes.But for the first half an hour, they created a buzz and failed to carry it forward. Similarly, if yo u expect the story to heat up when Vani Bhojan comes back in the second half, it is disappointing to easily put an end card as to what is the reason for all this.So, the name of the film is Love.. But inside is Ranakalam…!
