Live Performance of Indian Army Band as a tribute to Corona Warriors at Chennai

As part of 74th Independence Day Celebrations, Headquarters Dakshin Bharat Area organised a live performance of the Army Band as a tribute to the Corona Warriors at St George Fort Parade Ground at Chennai on 09 Aug 2020.
The band was performed by the Military Band of Madras Regimental Centre, Wellington. The distinguished band in the hour-long program performed a wide selection of music ranging from martial music to some soul-stirring songs of patriotic fervour including Tamil songs.
The Military Bands across the country are, for the first time, celebrating Independence Day by displaying their performances across the country from 01 August 2020 onwards, as a gesture of gratitude and appreciation of the nation towards the Corona warriors who have been steadfastly fighting to stop the spread of the Coronavirus in the country even at the risk of their own lives.
