Leading Industry Giants Unveil Cutting-Edge Green Products at IGBC’s Green Building Congress 2023
Chennai, November 25, 2023: The Green Building Congress 2023, an annual flagship conference on Green Built Environment organized by Indian Green Building Council today successfully came to conclusion in the city.
As pa rt of the sessions organized on day 3, IGBC also hosted an exclusive event to showcase key green products and te chnologies, which were recently launched by the companies across industry sectors like paint, glass, cooli ng systems, valves and more. The three day event witnessed participation of several thousands including profes sionals and homeowners.
Nippon Paint, Saint Gobain, Lehry Valves, Johnson Controls, and Vertiv, renowned leaders driving sustainable so lutions in their respective domains, came together to showcase their latest innovations for the adoption of gree n built environment at the Indian Green Building Council’s Green Building Congress 2023. This three-day annual event, set to be a milestone in the sustainability calendar, brings together experts, innovators, and indus try lead ers to explore and promote environmentally conscious practices in construction and design.
Mr Sanjay Jude, Director-BD & Strategy, Lehry Valves, launched India’s first no-lead ball valves that are safe for families and that are low on maintenance, at the event. During the same, Mr Mahesh Anand, President, Decor at ive Paint Division & Additional Director at Nippon Paint (India) Private Limited showcased Nippon’s latest sage and hygienic indoor paint, Nippon Aircare VG and Thermal Comfort solutions, a heat reluctant coating. Followin g this, Mr Venugopal, Manager -Design & Sustainability, Saint Gobain, unveiled details about the company’s lates t innovation, India’s first low-carbon glass. The event concluded with Mr Sivakumar Selva Ganapathy, VP- Open Blue India Software Engineering &APAC Solutions, and Mr Rahul Dey, Senior Product Manager, Vertiv also shari ng insights about green data and software developments in sustainability space. Similar to this, several other uni que technologies and products were also showcased that were appreciated by the participants.

The three-day international conference and parallel three- day Expo showcased low carbon green building tech nologies, products & solutions. With over 1000+ products on display, visitors at the expo experienced innovative products like Green Lighting, Green AC, Green paints and solutions for existing and new green projects. These re tro fittings and energy efficient appliances aim to not only reduce maintenance costs but also enhance health an d well-being and improve quality of life.
