Story-;
Directed by debutant director Yashwant Kishore, Keerthy Pandian’s movie Kannagi stars Ammu Abirami, Vidya Pradeep, Shalin Zoya, Mylswamy, Vetri, Adesh Sudhakar, Mounika, Yashwant Kishore. Ammu Abhirami has been waiting for her marriage for a long time, but her mother rejects every groom for one reason or another. In anoth er story, Shalin Zoya says she doesn’t believe in marriage and is living together with her boyfriend. In another sto ry, Keerthy Pandian and her boyfriend go to the hospital to get pregnant and somehow abort it. In another story, Vidya Pradeep goes to the court saying that her husband has given her a divorce and she wants to live with him. In this way, they are congratulating the four women in their four different lives. At the end these four stories co me together. The story of the movie Kannagi is about the problems that every women faces and how they solved it.

Director Yashwant Kishore has taken the four problems facing women in the society and told them through the right screenplay. A girl who is waiting to marry the boy she sees at home asks how many men I have seen as husb ands as every groom knocks her out for some reason or another. Keerthy Pandian has shown her acting skills in this film even though the film does not have dialogues. And the twist in the climax with him was unexpected. Vid ya Pradeep has shown the pains of a divorced woman through her performance that her life is lost and the next life should be better. Shalin Zoya has handled her character very well as an Arathu woman who lives her life as she pleases like cigarettes and Tanni and has no faith in marriage.
The rest of the supporting characters in the film also gave their due performance throughout the film, including Mylswamy and Alone.Appreciation for the director’s new initiative which talks about the injustices happening to women in the society. He has said as much as he can. Shaan Rahman’s music has good songs and background music. In some places they have shot live locations without dubbing. The way the four women and their lives are told in the first half is good, but the way it is carried in the second half gives the film a little slack. Some places ma y be cut in this story which runs for almost two and a half hours. As mentioned earlier, although no one expected the twist in the climax,
it is possible that some people may not understand that twist. And some of the scenes are comprehensible as th ey take too long to get boring. Kannagi defeated everyone. While it is being said that adult women should not go to Sabarimala and women should not go to the temple during Titu time, director Yashwant Kishore has put such a scene in the climax of the movie Kannagi. Ayali webseries has recently shown how a woman who came of age defied the curfew to enter the temple. Did you come to my house and see?.. Pancharana Bailwan Ranganathan.. Keerthy Pandian who became Kannagi! In this case, when such a bold scene has been shown in the film Kannagi, the question has arisen whether the controversy will erupt even if the film is released.
