After unveiling the release trailer of the film, the makers have now released an interview series called Kalki 2898 AD Chronicles. The series features the entire cast of PAN India superstars in a candid chat along with the film producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka Dutt. In the chat, the star cast spoke their hearts out about their working experience with each other and the idea behind such an ambitious futuristic project.
In the video, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan hilarious said, “The Prabhas and all the fans of Prabhas; Please Excuse Me, Hum hath jod ke maafi mangte hai. He also asked the producers Swapna Dutt and Priyanka about the film’s idea, “Was it Nagi’s idea, Was it your idea or what? To which the Dutt sisters responded, “With Nagi around, I don’t think we have a scope of any other idea”.
While Deepika Padukone also shared her experience of calling Prabhas and revealed, “I just called to tell you that we shot our first day with Kamal Sir.” Prabhas was quoted saying “This is the best character ever in my life. Additionally, Kamal Hassan also said about the concept of the film, “India is ready for it and they are owning it up”.
Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD is set to release theatrically on June 27, 2024. With a star-studded cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, the film promises to be an unparalleled cinematic experience.
