Movie Review -:

Deepa, who plays the role of a loving m other in the role of Vedutaiyar Kali, has threatened Kali in her avatar after the d eath of her son and has also warned the crowd that indulges in crimes against w omen.

Appukutty, who plays the hardworking and affectionate younger brother, has a dded strength to the screenplay with his realistic performance and has shown his murderous fervor in an unexpected role.

Sampath Ram, who plays the villain, has got a huge opportunity for his wait. He h as made the most of it and has incurred the wrath of the fans with his villainy.

Gayathri, who plays the threatening ro le of a ganja dealer with eyes filled with drugs and a cigar in his hand, stands tall as a good actress with her arrogant per formance. Gayathri, who fits in many ro les like a village mother, a city girl, a doc tor, attracts attention with her unique p erformance as a villain.

Yasar, who plays the role of Vengai, has roared in his performance, reflecting th he youth of the southern district.

Cheran Raj, who plays the police officer, and the actor who plays Vengai’s friend, and all the other characters, including th he actor, who plays the role of the police officer, are suitable choices for the char acter and have reflected the people of t he southern district.

All the songs in the music of composer J erson are repetitive genres. Especially t he song “Vettudaiyar Kaali..” and the w ay it was filmed will create a great reson ance in the theater. The lyrics of Gurum moorthy and Kumari Vijayan are design ed to describe the feelings of the charac ters.

Cinematographers Jayakumar and JK h ave depicted the lives of the people of t he southern district naturally and magn ificently. Even though there are scenes t hat are blood-splattered, the way they h ave depicted it emotionally and the fest ival scenes have raised the quality of the film many times over.

The editing by Vignesh Varnam and Vin ayagam keeps the film moving without a ny hesitation and conveys the ideas the director is trying to convey to the audie nce without distorting them.

The work of art director Thilakarajan A mbed and choreographer Variety Bala h as added strength to the story.

Veeramurugan, who has written and di rected, has given a very emotional film based on the main problem happening in the society at the moment. In parti cu ular, he has recorded the increasing pli ght of the drug culture in Tamil Nadu a nd the cries of the women affected by it, and has also recorded the harsh punish ment that should be given to the crimin als.

Although there are many caste symbols in some places, director Veeramurugan, who keeps everything logical in the scre enplay, has deeply recorded how import tant spirituality is for humans in the lang uage of the screen.

Although the scenes of those involved in crimes against women being weeded ar e very bloody, when seen from the posit ion of the victims, those scenes are perf ect.

Even though it is a film for society, dire ctor Veeramurugan has directed it in a commercial and at the same time civili zed manner. ‘Kalan’ is not just an k film but a lesson for everyone, *and* will ma ke people travel on the right path.
