Kabilan Vairamuthu’s books to feature in the prestigious Singapore Read Fest 2021
Veteran writer, Cho Dharman’s Sahitya Academy Award winning novel, Sool. Writer & Lyricist, Kabilan Vaira m uthu’s novel, Meinigari and his short story collection, Ambaraathooni (Secondary book) will be the featured bo oks in National Library Board’s Annual key event, Read Fest 2021. “Read Fest is NLB’s annual signature event to encourage Singaporeans to be acquainted or reacquainted with reading in all the four official languages. Beyond the usual line up of talks and workshops, Read! Fest explores interpretations of reading in light-hearted and novel ways ranging from art installations, gamifications to crea tive literary trails. The festival is a key highlight under the National Reading Movement. The books have been chosen to refresh the way we curate for Read Fest, to emphasize learning through reading and books & to highli ght books & exploring/convos around it to promote multiple learning pathways and learning journeys”
