India’s first-ever Mud race based film Muddy is all set for the worldwide

India’s first-ever Mud race based film Muddy is all set for the worldwide theatrical release on December 10, 2021. The film is getting released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English. The film is written and directed by Dr. Pragabhal. The film crew was present for the pre-release event of this film. Here are excerpts from this event.

Dialogue writer RP Bala said, “I am happy and glad to have producer K Rajan sir and director Perarasu as the guests of honor for this occasion. Director Pragabhal is Mr. Cool as he had to face many tough challenges and
yet maintained patience and smile throughout the shoot. We have shot the film for 5 years and he has done a fabulous piece of work. The film has found a top-notch output as it boasts of super league technicians and
talented actors. The most reputed music director Ravi Basrur has been a backbone and pillar to this film. Both the lead actors have strained and taken a lot of risks while performing the race scenes. We have come across
many Race movies, but Muddy is completely different as it is India’s first ever Mud Race and was shot across various real locations.”

KGF fame Music Director Ravi Basrur said, “I am emotionally brimming with happiness and gratitude for Tamil music lovers and audiences, who supported and encouraged me for my musical score in KGF and now Muddy. The entire team has exerted complete heart and soul into the movie. In particular, Director Pragabhal has pulled it off excellently. The freedom he gave me was really helpful. It took nearly 2 years to compose music for this film. The final output has come out really well. I am waiting to see the reception of this movie among audiences.”

Director Dr. Pragabhal said, “The journey with Muddy was something challenging. It took 5 years for us to complete the movie. Initially, I had to train the lead actors for nearly 2 years as they had to look more
realistic. Moreover, I wanted to shoot the action sequences without any dupes. I was so particular about the attitude of the actors and henceforth, I had to spend more time in planning. The technical team exerted fabulous
support to the film. I request the press and audiences to support the film and make it a good success.”

Director Perarasu said, “I am still in awe after watching the trailer of Muddy. I still remember the experience of watching the trailer of masterpieces like Sholay and Oomai Vizhigal. And now, it’s Muddy. I can’t imagine the hardships and challenges of the actors and technicians of this film. On the other hand, the making of this film left me awestruck. The film will be a massive hit in all the languages. I am spellbound over the overpowering musical score of Ravi Basrur. I am confident that the film is going to be a tremendous hit.”

Actress Vanitha Vijaykumar said, “When I was invited to this occasion, I felt like I am going to be an odd person here. When I saw the trailer, I could feel the essence of Hollywood. I don’t know where Director Dr. Pragabhal learnt the techniques of choreographing the action sequences involving Mud Race. This film already looks like a sure-footed winner in the box office. I wish all the best to the entire cast and crew for the grand success.”

Producer K Rajan said, “Director Dr. Pragabhal has made such a film that will make him a reputed filmmaker in the world cinema and even Hollywood is going to recognize and appreciate his hard work. Music Director Ravi Basrur left us astonished with a tremendous masterpiece in KGF and now with Muddy he has delivered 5 times more powerful than KGF. I wish all the best to the director to become an actor soon. I am so surprised to see the planning of the crew. They have taken nearly 5 years to complete the movie. This shows their earnest dedication, sincerity and passion towards this film…
