INDIAN COAST GUARD SEZIES DRUGS (CANNABIS) AT INO SL-IMBL

Indian Coast Guard Station Mandapam carried out an Anti Narcotics Operation near the Indo-Srilankan IMBL in the mo rning of 18 Dec 24. Responding to an IN T input, an Air Cushioned Vehicle was pr essed into action for the operation.
During extensive search, the ACV spott ed few packages in First Island near the IMBL and on investigation a total of 10 packets, which were abandoned in the is land, were seized. The packets have sinc e been identified as Marijuana Cannibis and weighing around 22 Kgs. The Contr a aband has been handed over to Custo ms department, Rameshwaram for furth er course of action.
