IIFF 2024 Kicks Off with Grand Inauguration by Commerce Minister Shri Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, 10 August, 2024: The 8th edition of the India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) 2024 was inaugurated today by the Honourable Minister of Commerce & Industry Shri Piyush Goyal at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The inauguration was graced by the presence of distinguished guests and government dignitaries, including Mr. Pradeep Singh Kharola, Chairman & Managing director, ITPO, Mr. V. Noushad, National President of CIFI, Mr. Rajat Agarwal, Executive Director, ITPO and Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, Chairman of the Organizing Committee IIFF 2024. Scheduled from 08th to 10th August 2024, this prestigious event is organized by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Footwear Industries (CIFI). This event underscores its growing significance as a premier global footwear industry event.

The 8th India International Footwear Fair (IIFF) will feature over 200 global exhibitors presenting a wide range of products, including high-fashion, luxury, sports, and everyday footwear. A key highlight of IIFF 2024 is its focus on sustainability, featuring a dedicated section for eco-friendly products and practices, reflecting the industry’s commitment to environmental responsibility. Adding to the excitement, the second day of the event will feature a fashion show showcasing the latest trends in footwear. The fair will display a diverse array of products, including footwear, machinery and equipment, technology, compounds, raw materials, components, synthetic materials (PVC and PU), chemicals, soles, fabrics, and leather goods. With an expected attendance of over 20,000 business visitors, IIFF 2024 promises to be a significant platform for showcasing offerings and finalizing business deals with both national and international buyers.
