Story-;
The film tells the story of Kali (Kali Venkat), a postman in 2023, and Madhaswaran, the first postman in the 1870 s. Kali Venkat is sent as a postman to a sparsely populated village atop the scenic hills of Isan. Kali Venkat, who a grees because it is his first government job and will get married, comes to know that people are illiterate, the pos t office is used as a bank, there is no telecommunication facility, and people are scared by the name of Mathe swa ran. How ever, his officials in the city refuse his request and ask him to work there. It is at this point that the post man gets an idea. Since no one in the village is literate, he closes the post office and writes a petition to the gove rnment on behalf of the villagers requesting to open a co-operative bank instead.
He hopes the move will secure a replacement if the post office closes. One day, a letter arrives at his post office to be delivered to an old lady high up on a neighboring hill. Kali sets out to deliver it and during his long journey, meets an elder. He listens to Kalivenkat’s grievances and tells about Matheswaran, the first pioneer postman in this hill village 150 years ago and Hargara, whom the locals now worship as a god. Harkara’s story has a profoun d effect on Kali and changes his mind. Who is Hargara? What did he sacrifice to save the country by working for the British? Why do the hill people celebrate Hargara as a deity? What did Kali change his mind and decide? Did Eason work at Mt. That is the climax.

Movie Review-;
The film is partly set in the 1880s and partly set in 2023, focusing on the problems faced by a postman who visits a mountain village where there are no digital facilities even in modern times. The plot revolves around a selfish postman who is employed at a post office in a hilly village in Theni district. Kali joins the new postman job. (Kali Venkat) Although the people love him, he does not want to work in this village. Kali is also angry that the towns people often ask for loans for small savings, the difficulty of going to the town even to buy clothes, and more imp ortantly, living in a mountain forest, he does not get a girl for marriage.
Realizing that all this is affecting his pers onal life, he decides to leave. Somehow he plans to close down the post office in this town and get a job transfer. For that he prepares a petition and buys the thumb registration of illite rate villagers in that petition by lying. He petitions the collector to close the post office. At the same time comes the responsibility of delivering a letter to Mariammal (Vijayalakshmi) who lives on the top of the hill. On a rugge d mountain trek to accomplish this, he learns from a village elder about a harkara (postman) named Mathe swar an who first lived in this hill village 150 years ago. The film tells about what this first Hargara did.
What is his story? The crux of the film is what happens to Kali after hearing that story. Kali Venkat, who has been giving amazing performances in recent times, has once again delivered a realistic performance. He carries the ro le of a postman on his shoulders and adds strength to the screenplay by doing well in moving scenes and guilt-in ducing scenes.Ram Arun Castro, who plays Hargara, is very impressive with his svelte body and majestic looks. Si lambam is amazing in action scenes.Gauthami Chaudhary, Directors Murthy, Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan acting is extra special.
Cinematography by cinematographers Philip R Sundar and Lokesh Ilangovan mesmerises the route through rug ged terrain amidst stunning natural beauty, small villages and lush green valleys, waterfalls amidst dramatic lan dscapes.Ram Shankar’s music, and the background score blend well with the story.In order to make the present generation aware of the selfless service of postmen especially in the hilly areas, new facts about the first postm an are dealt with and the story of Hargara tells about the necessity and superiority of the postal service.
Director Ram Arun Castro has tried to make it interesting that the people of the respective villages are Kulasa mi.The movie is dedicated to postmen who are the face of Hargara Postal Department produced by NA Ramu, S aravanan Ponraj, Arvind Dharmaraj, Deena.Kali Venkat gives yet another realistic performance as a self-cente red contemporary postman. At first, Kalivenkat, who stumbles without understanding the lifestyle of the hill pe ople, takes an angry decision, and then changes his mind and starts living like the people of the place, after know ing how the postman is treated, and shows excellent acting skills.
Director Ram Arun Castro, who has played the role of Hargara in the film V1 Murder Case, is attracting attentio n. In particular, Ooduru also has a sharp vision, fast and majestic climbing with mails on the mountains, energe ti cally and gracefully taunting the enemies around the simba, action scenes where he saves the slave people from the British who are oppressing him, and after being loyal to the British and knowing their insidious plan, he fina lly decides to hide the important document and save his own life. The consonant is thrilling. The realistic acting in the final scene is eye-popping.
His hard work, efforts and training are commendable to add strength to the character he has adopted in the film. Gautami Choudhary as Durga has some lines and some scenes that are important though. She recites love poetry with silent expression through her eyes in the film. Throughout the film, cinematographers Philip R Sundar and L okesh Ilangovan’s stunning visuals are shot in natural light and eye-catching, and are applauded for their excelle nt portrayal of the contrast between the two periods. Ram Shankar’s music, for a few minutes in the first half, co mes across as noisy and makes it difficult to follow the dialogues.
However, as the story progresses, his background score merges with the story, changing the mood and combini ng with the beautiful visuals on screen. Director Ram Arun Castro has given this film as a tribute to the noble wo rk and dedication of the postal workers in this film as a tribute to the Hargaras who lived for the people during th e time when there were no facilities during the British rule, highlighting how difficult, complicated and dangero us the work they carried was called Hargara. A slow-moving screenplay could have been given more snapp iness. Produced by NA Ramu and Saravanan Ponraj on behalf of Colors Full Beta Movement, Hargara is an emotional s alute to the heroic sacrifice of a gallant postman.
