GOC Dakshin Bharat Area Superannuates Today
Lieutenant General PN Rao, Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, Yudh Seva Medal, General Officer Commanding (GOC), Dak shin Bharat Area superannuates on 30 November 2020, today. The General Officer has put in distinguished military service of 38 years serving the nation and the Indian Army. He has held various appointments both in operations and in peace, within the country as well as abroad.
As GOC Dakshin Bharat Area, he contributed immensely towards the operational and Humanitarian & Disaster Relief task preparedness of the military units in southern states. He also contributed remarkably in maintaining civil-military rapport and coordination with civil authorities. He hands over the baton to Major General Prakash Chandra who takes over the charge of Officiating General Office Commanding, Dakshin Bharat Area.
